So sad bubbs.  I think that's a nice thing to do, I'm sure she'll appreciate your support.

I haven't done stuffed marrow for years now.  Used to do it quite regularly when the kids were little as we used to go to a pick your own farm and they used to give them away free because no one wanted to buy them!  Can't say I particularly like them and certainly wouldn't bother buying them but you're right rings must be much easier than halves - I only used to cut in half and fill with, usually, mince and onions topped with cheese.  I think DH was the only one who really enjoyed it but the kids knew if they didn't eat it they wouldn't get anything else!  I didn't give in to fussiness (mainly because we couldn't afford to!).

Morning all.  Horrible wet and windy today - why oh why did DH arrange for us to go golf!!!  only on the range so shouldn't be too bad as will be slightly sheltered.

Jumped on the scales this morning and it was another STS - better than expected if I'm honest because I went over the 3 syns yesterday which was all I had left.  No doubt it'll catch up this week so need to be better this coming week.  Going to try and up the Speed foods this week.  Our consultant has challenged people on our Facebook page to do the 7/7/7 challenge - 7 Speed foods, 7 Syns, 7 glasses of water.  Don't think I'm going that far but going to try for the 7 Speed a day but won't beat myself up if I don't make it.

    Today's plan:

    B - mushroom and onion mushroom omelette - P; S
L - rosemary and red onion sausage sandwich - HEB; F; 1 (DH is having fish fingers and I don't like them!)
    D - cauliflower cheese, chips - HEA2; S; F; 4

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - bread
Syns - 10g low fat spread 1; cheese sauce mix 4
Speed foods:  mushrooms, onions, spring onions, garlic, cauliflower - 5

Morning all!  Had a busy few days and still have a few things to finish off before I'm on leave next week.

Hope your golf session doesn't get too rained on denise - it's been steadily chucking it down here all morning so far.

Haven't managed to get any exercise in a for almost 2 weeks now but will throw some weights around this evening because I certainly feel better when I do.  Had porridge with apple and cinnamon for breakfast and lunch is going to be mushroom soup.  Dinner is going to be some kind of pasta with courgette and some reduced mackrel that I picked up at the weekend for the freezer.

Hope you all have a good day and stay safe.

Golf? In this weather?? Madness! 🤣 It's tipping down here too and I've no plans to step outside the door.

I will do some  exercises though ruby. I'm really disappointed that we can't go back to dancing in the new Tier system but I do want to keep my muscle strength and flexibility.

What sort of sauce would you do with courgettes?🤔 We enjoy pasta but I just seem to do Bolognese all the time. I have kept a SW recipe for meatballs with a sauce containing aubergines but that's just a variation on a theme.

Snap! I'm going to have a couple of LM sausages today too denise. I want something different to go with my bubble & squeak and I've got plenty in. Shame about the STS but it WILL come good in the end. I finished off my syns  (and probably more) last night with M&S crab terrine. Only starter size but they'd been knocking around the freezer for ages.  The 7 Speed idea is good because it encourages you to  have variety as well as quantity. I think I'm hitting the 7 today! 😁

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash, skinny syrup, banana (F), HEB porridge, HEA1 milk, raspberries (S)
    L-  LM sausages (F), bubble & squeak (F,S), pickles (S)
    D- SW Bolognese (P,S), pasta (F), HEA2 Parmesan
    Syns- 0

Yes the tiers seem to have caused some rumblings of disagreement around here too - doesn't really affect DH and I too much as we're still staying well away from people

I'm just going to use some lemon juice and loads of black pepper with the courgettes and pasta this evening - think I'm just going to dice it quite fine and quickly fry with the mackerel when that's almost finished cooking.  Nothing too complicated going on here, my brain can't really handle recipes with lots of things going on at the moment!

The crab terrine sounds nice maman - I love crab but not something I have very often, although we did buy a dressed crab to share about 5 or 6 weeks ago from the local fishmonger.

I've upped the Speed a bit more by having some onion chutney in my sausage sandwich and an orange after so that means I will have hit the 7 Speed foods for today!

The golf wasn't too bad in the end as it's sheltered but it was definitely windy so a lot of the balls got blown off course (as well as the ones we hit the wrong way, LOL!).  Still at least we didn't get too wet, apart from walking from the car to the range but I'm glad to be back indoors with the heating on!

What a cheek telling you to lose weight bubbs?  They'd better use facetime instead of the phone so they can look and think before speaking! 🤔

    Morning all,

Dark and dismal here too, the dog said no thanks to a walk this morning so we got snuggled on the chair instead ha

Food is very boring today, I haven’t been shopping for over a week so supplies are low. Going to stock up tomorrow – we are due snow here but nothing yet, might just show up on the hills.

Fingers crossed for a loss tomorrow
