Hope everyone had a good weekend. Mine was a little unfriendly SW wise - we went out for a meal with friends Friday but only drank small glasses of wine & more water than wine, Saturday was a bit of a pj day, though I did go running with a friend, and Sunday was spent walking up the Beacons.
As for Christmas , our plans are all up in the air - Junior doesn't know if he's working atm, & Mum is waiting to see what the current situation is although she has said she's definitely not going to my sister's.
Going to cook have salmon tonight so looking forward to that

It always throws me when you post about eating out when we can't, then I remember you're in Wales gts. My brother is about 10 miles from the Beacons National Park, lovely part of the world. 😊

Well done on getting a loss milann, you must be doing something right. It's an excellent start until you get your kitchen back.

Denise is so right that when you have a gain, what matters is that you know why. I think we're doing well to stick to healthy eating during the pandemic, an occasional detour is fine. 😉

AS DH makes breakfast, I  found that having Weetabix was the easiest as no measuring involved klew.  For a change, I bought Puffed Wheat  and weighed it from curiosity. There's masses for 40g so no chance I'd have too much. I think 'heavier' cereals can be a bit mean looking though. It wouldn't be enough to keep me full until lunchtime. I don't have cereal very often though only on WI days and if we're going out for a big lunch.

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash (F), fried egg, bacon (P), tomatoes and mushrooms (S), HEB toast, HEA milk
    L- ham (P), 1 potato (F) veg and cornichons (S)
D- baked salmon (P), SW chips (F), carrots, asparagus, mushrooms, cauli, tomato (S)
    Syns- 0

Well done milann to have had a loss under such circumstances.  I haven't weighed this week yet so no idea how I'm doing but I have been under 15 syns every day since WI day on Thursday so just another 2 days on less than 15 and then hoping for that elusive loss - it's been half on each week so I'm now only half pound from top end of target!

I'm like you maman in that I rarely have cereal for breakfast although I usually weigh before eating but that had to come to a stop when we were socially distancing & wearing masks!  Now I'm weighing at home again I'm weighing before eating again.

My consultant sent a text today to say that SW have given them the option to either carry on with Zoom or go back the socially distanced venue meetings - I'm glad to say she has decided to carry on with Zoom so that means I just need to text her my weight (when I decide to - up to 8 weeks from last WI) and then after that she'll be able to pick it up from either the app or the website so will text her probably the 1st or 2nd week of December and then I will leave it  until 8 weeks after that.  That should, hopefully, mean I don't need to worry too much about Christmas and New Year!

I'm surprised that SW has taken a decision about meetings so soon denise. We don't have the full details yet but I'd have thought it may depend on which tier each area ends up in. Maybe not though as SW probably counts as a business so numbers are based on size of venue rather than Rule of 6 or whatever criteria are used for other indoor gatherings. 🤔

We're having a YS ready meal tonight. It's chicken breast wrapped in bacon with cheese. The syns estimator says 3 syns but I think that's high based on a second HEA. I can spare the syns though so not really fussed. Not sure what to have with it. I love chips but we had those last night. I'll have to get thinking. 🤔

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash, skinny syrup, banana (F), HEB porridge, HEA milk, red berries (S)
    L- beef stew (P,S,F)
D- chicken breast (P), potato? (F), asparagus, mange tout, mushrooms
    Syns- chicken meal 3

i have been lazy and free pouring the fruit and fibre as i 'know' what 40gs looks like, so i just want to make sure im not sneaking too much in. the beef tagliatelle was delicious last night i just did half a batch and added one red pepper, there is leftovers for tonight - lunch was the soup and the chicken again - no freddo

klew in which case it's probably worth cutting back on the cereal - definitely worth weighing it, at least for a while.  40g isn't very much at all.  If you like cereal then it's worth getting some Puffed Wheat or Honey Monster (light Sugar Puffs) as you get masses of those.  I actually like eating the Honey Monster cereal like popcorn while watching the TV in the evening!

Took the car in for service and MOT this morning, everything OK once wipers replaced (which I knew needed doing so not a shock).  Had been paying for a service plan so didn't n need to pay except for the wipers and MOT so not too expensive.  Have decided not to renew the service plan and will just put the money away and get it done locally rather than driving to the dealers which is about 30 miles away!

    Today's plan:

B - beans on 1 slice of toast; marmalade on 1 slice of toast - HEB; F; 5.5
    L - carrot, ginger & lentil soup - S; P; F
    D - vegetable and lentil curry, rice - P; S; F
Snack - bacon baguette (I think due to boredom waiting for the car!) 10

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
    Syns - 1/3 baguette 10; 10g butter 3.5; 2tsp marmalade 1
