Hello all, still here, still no mojo BUT lost 1LB this week which is amazing as not really thinking about what I eat 🥴. Hubby is furloughed again so is in baking mode, when he makes gluten free fruit bread it’s rude not to isn’t it? 🤔
Covid is getting closer to us ( one adult case so far) but the next village along has had huge increases so expect it will be us soon.
Went to morries to try out the discount for school staff, didn’t need much so saved a whole 99p 🤣.Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Good to hear from you tie and well done on your loss. Stay safe. 😊
I'm pretty sure we'll be on our own for Christmas too denise. Normally DD1 comes to stay with DGD but they haven't been inside our house since March so unlikely to come whatever the rules. We haven't discussed it yet but I will offer to do 'meals on wheels' as they only live a mile away. DH and I will have Christmas dinner though whatever happens. DD2 hasn't come to us for years as her MIL is on her own so she always has her to stay. Apparently the 'tier rules' for post lockdown in England are to be announced this week. We will eat out with friends in the run up to Christmas if that's allowed but well have to wait and see.
Good idea to have some synful ingredients in meals. That's a bonus of having daily syns as you need to think of something to use them for. 🤔
I'm planning to batch cook Delia's red cabbage and some Bolognese this afternoon so that'll keep me busy. 😊
Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash (F), fried eggs (P), tomatoes and mushrooms (S), HEB toast, HEA milk
L- beef stew (P,S,F)
D- Aldi curry (P,S) with HM pilau and chips (F), extra veg (S)
Syns- curry 1, weekend wine😉0 -
Thought I ought to use some syns on something other than rum or wine otherwise it means I'll end up drinking every day and my liver won't thank me for that! You're right about having to think what I'm going to use them on though. Think there might even be some puddings over the following days - need to get my thinking cap on but I think one of them will be lemon meringue pie using proper lemon curd (HM made DD1s partner so very, very lemony!) - will need to work the syns out for it though and then decide whether it's just going to be in a dish or whether it will be more pastry!
I've got some red cabbage out of the freezer for dinner tomorrow night - still got I think another 3 lots in there. I keep forgetting it's there but noticed it on my freezer list (had everything out of the freezer a couple of weeks ago to defrost it so actually have a list of what is in the outside freezer at the moment!).

Afternoon all
Been ok weather wise here today too, had my washing out and it was more or less dry, this also included DH's thick work sweat shirts, so i just put them on the airier to finish off.
I have been freezer diving today to use up some of the stuff we have in, still got loads of smoked salmon i got on a glitch, so took some of that out and will make a salmon and broccoli quiche tomorrow, also took out a stray pack of ham and a piece of pork which we will have tomorrow.
Need to be organised next week as ddh's hours have changed again 🙄 but better than 8pm finish. He will be working 7-6 , he is on call this weekend incase the delivery turns up . It really has to got be here by Weds as they have to have 2 tests 3 days apart, but in all honesty if they test positive are students going to stay there? No i don;t think so and they cannot force them too!
TIE well done on your loss
Picky tea today 😋 I has sausage and mushroom egg wraps with toms on the side for lunch, didn't have breakfast! Used LM sausage so they are free
Has anyone tried Lo-Dough, our temp consultant has made a pizza for lunch and it looks amazing and she said was nice, only 2 syns each BUT they are expensive!Sealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance:0 -
Good news that the shifts are more manageable bubbs. I love smoked salmon, definitely on my Christmas list. 😋 I've never heard of LoDough. I'll look it up. 🤔
Had a good afternoon in the kitchen. As well as the planned Bolognese and red cabbage, I made some burgers. We've not had any for ages and as I had a large pack of mince I decided to use it all.1 -

Glad you did good in the kitchen
I have just opened word to plan meals for next week, i was thinking i could cook in the day and then just bung in microwave to heat up 😂Sealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance:0 -
Mamam when i went to group there was a lot of discussion about Lo dough. I didn’t bother trying it as it was expensive and I came to the conclusion it was a bit like the marmite effect - some folk loved it and some hated it and said they’d rather use the syns on a small slice of ‘real’ pizza or use a wrap. I tend to have a pizza wrap or sometimes a small slice of pizza and a jacket and salad.
The builder has put us a temporary sink and small piece of worktop today to see us through to 1st December when the proper worktops are delivered. I had a sw chicken risotto - reduced in Iceland in The Range and I have a sw mushroom risotto for another day.....also reduced. I have some of my home made meals in the freezer which I’ll pull out and have with rice or pasta this week now I can wash the pots again 👍 so I’ll do what I can do.
I bought myself a new notebook today for when I get my kitchen up and running and I can do a journal of my eating/thoughts and exercise. I find this really helps me stay motivated.January spends - £587.580 -
Milan, are they not thick like a pizza base though? of they are like a wrap may as well use a wrap 😂

Yes bubbs, many meals would work with reheating in the microwave. You just need to get your head around which would suit. 🤔
DD1 called round this afternoon. Probably illegal but she stood in the front garden while I was at the front door. 🤔 They're definitely not coming (as I suspected) for Christmas Dinner whatever the rules but jury's still out on meals on wheels. Maybe they'll go for pizza and pyjamas, 🤣
I looked up LoDough. Thought maybe they did low syn pastry. Not fussed about pizza myself so won't be bothering with it.0 -
Well someone has just asked her , they are bit thicker than a wrap, she said the thing it dowa for her is save hexb, so i won't bother i will just use £1 pack of ww wraps and get the same amount , rather than £13 odd
Well i though Monday, cottage pie, and will cook the veg and then plate is so can zap it, can leave cottage pie in oven while i fetch him,
Tues casserole, same with veg, leave the oven while i fetch him
