Morning all.  Happy birthday bubbs.  Are you doing anything special?

Been out early to do the shopping and spent a fortune.  Hopefully I've got everything I need for the month apart from fruit and veg, although I have frozen as a last resort.  Will also need to go to the butchers at some time to get some low fat sausages for breakfasts as he hadn't made any today.

Today's plan (which has changed since I wrote my plan due to today's shopping!):

    B - beans and egg on toast - HEB; P; F
    L - LO shepherds pie, mixed frozen veg - P; S; F
    D - cauliflower cheese, chips - S; F; 3

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
Syns - Bisto cheese sauce granules 3

Happy Birthday bubbs. 😊 Are you having a take away?

I'm a  recent convert to porridge with raspberries ruby. DH generally slices a banana  on top which is a bit bland (and not Speed) but I really like the tartness of the berries. 😊

It's my last dance class today so I'll have to find another form of Body Magic for the next month or so. I'm far better with something organised so I mustn't get lazy. I don't think I'll risk dropping dumbells on my head though. 🤣

I'm getting quite stressed about WI tomorrow although I know it's stupid. Normally I wouldn't worry as I generally get back into range (if needed) in grace week or soon after but I don't know how it will work in lockdown. I've texted my consultant again to ask her. Its a bit  'what if' but surely not everyone can weigh at home or even get to group on the changed day so they should have a plan.

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit, baked beans (F), bacon, fried egg (P), HEB toast, HEA milk
L- ham (P), fried veg and pickles (S)
D- veggie chilli (P,S) with brown rice (F) and cottage cheese (P)
    Syns- 0

I've still got loads of syns left, even allowing for 15 less for a shortened week but Boots scales said I was 3lbs over and I don't think I can lose that much in 6 days.

They had arrangements last time maman.  I think your consultant just put you down as STS didn't she?  If you're worried you won't be in target then just tell her you can't make group and ask to be put down as STS.  At the end of the day it's only 4 weeks and you'll get back there in that time I'm sure.  At the end of the day SW say you shouldn't weigh on your own scales anyway or anywhere else either so they definitely shouldn't expect you to weigh at home.

I'm glad I went last week as that gives we 8 weeks before I need to worry!

  • Afternoon all & Happy Birthday Bubbs.
I've lurked but not posted - weekend was a total washout and as we're still in lockdown, Sunday especially was hard. Even my go to knitting wasn't doing it for me. Sleep has gone to pot again, which isn't helping.
Joedenise thank you for those suggestions. I have been trying to clear out the freezer and have eaten up some SW soups that I made ...only to realise why they were at the back of the freezer lol. As for what I ate previously well it was usually a tesco meal deal - I think the sandwiches alone worked out at something like 30+ syns ! I then started having the pasta pots which are something like 4 syns  which in itself isn't that bad.
I did this week bring in some tinned soups so at least I've got those.
Going vegetarian tonight with tofu and courgette / carrot noodles.

    Enjoy your Chinese tomorrow bubbs!

maman My consultant has posted on our Facebook page to say that whether you are weighing or not you will still have access to the FB page and to the website so shouldn't be a problem with not weighing, same as last time!  Doesn't matter whether you do the Zoom meetings or not - I won't be and I'm not going to bother sending in my weight either, although I'll keep an eye on it and post on here.  Pretty certain this week is going to be a gain but hopefully still just in target!

You need to ask your consultant for your 5 digit PIN.  I had this problem a while back. Once I'd got the PIN number I got access again.  Hope your consultant answers soon.
