Good to see a loss klew. 😊

I think we all need a plan for lockdown especially as groups and exercise classes will stop. I'm really hoping that DH and I will get back to regular walking, as much for the feel good factor as for exercise. Meal plans and healthy food shopping to go with them help too IMO. That's not just for losing weight but it gives a structure which can be missing. Personally I enjoy the challenge of being mse too.😉

I haven't done the maths yet but I know I have heaps of syns left for the next couple of days which I don't need but will be certain I haven't gone over for the week (6 day week). Ironically, with group meeting being brought forward a day I won't be eating out until the evening  so will be 100% on plan until WI.

I made extra gravy yesterday by doubling up on the HB recipe so that's in the freezer for a midweek meal. I love gravy so to have it syn free is brilliant. We had porridge again today as we had loads of berries to eat up while they were still fresh.

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit, skinny syrup, banana (F), HEB porridge, HEA milk, strawberries, raspberries (S)
L- ham (P), fried potato (F), veg and pickles (S)
D- baked salmon (P), SW chips (F), asparagus, cauli steak, mushrooms, tomato (S)
    Syns- 0

Well done on your loss klew.

Had a message from my consultant this morning to say she's moving the group to Wednesday as expected!  I've messaged back to say I'm not going and won't be going back to WI until December, assuming lockdown doesn't get extended!

I've actually run out of syns for this week so trying to keep syn free for a few days!

Had a golf lesson this morning which was really good.  It was with a different pro to the one I used to use and he's far better as a coach.  He's the pro at the local golf club which is members only but as I've paid for a lesson I'm able to use the range to practise whenever I like - but of course unless things change golf clubs are also going to be closed from Thursday!  Apparently Golf England are in talks with the government to try and get this reversed and allow golf with 2 players only.  As the pro said there is no reason why we can't walk round the golf course just can't hit the ball whilst going round!

    Today's plan:

B - egg on toast; marmite on toast - 1 slice of each, scrape of butter on one slice - HEB; P; F; 2
    L - LO veg chilli & rice - P; S; F (DH also had a mini naan with his)
    D - shepherds pie made with LO lamb from yesterday's roast; green veg - P; S; F

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
    Syns - tsp butter 2

So will your consultant put down your last (in target) weight for the coming month denise? 🤔 I'm wondering now whether I should ask for that. It would be much simpler. 🤔 Whatever I decide I know I'll be carrying on with the plan during lockdown. 😊

The rules in England really don't make much sense. Test, track and trace has been such a mess that they don't really know where the infection is being passed on and, although there is data on increasing numbers in schools, they passed up the chance of taking advantage of half term so now everyone has to put up with it for longer. ☹️

Because I weighed on Thursday she won't need to put anything as, like you, I'm at target so I've got 8 weeks before I need to weigh again.  I just told her I had other plans for Wednesday so I couldn't make it - she already knew I wouldn't be going on Thursday as DH and I were supposed to be going away for a long weekend in the motorhome, but of course that can't happen now!

Agree with you about "rules" not making much sense but without laws to back them up loads of people will just carry on as if there is nothing happening.  The social distancing in my area is now almost non-existent - DH and I tend to criss cross the road in order to stay away from others to keep our distance as most people just seem to carry on walking at you.

Also agree they probably should have taken the opportunity of using half term as a circuit breaker but it wasn't to be and we just have to go with it now.  I'm sure it's a great idea keeping schools, colleges and universities open.  My DGD is due to come back home for Christmas on 1 December so now looking like it's going to cost her money to change the date of her train ticket - it's so unfair when it's through no fault of her own.

Afternoon all.  Had a lovely few days celebrating but back to it today - didn't even weigh myself this morning because not only did I have lots of treats (wine, cheese, cakes among other things) over the weekend but it's also star week so a recipe for disaster there!  Really really glad that we managed to have a night in a hotel and a nice meal out before lockdown 2.0 which is a little selfish of me but it's been a hard year.

Back to it today - started early at work so will be finishing early and going for a walk before doing some strength training / yoga blend when I get home.  Had porridge with raspberries for breakfast, pumpkin soup for lunch and then poutine tonight which was a request by DH.

Sounds like you had a good time.  Not selfish at all - we weren't in lockdown in all areas of the country so as long as the area you are in wasn't then good on you!

Will you have to go into work from Thursday or are you able to work from home?  My DD was supposed to be going into the office on Thursday but got a text Sunday night to say she has to go in on Wednesday instead!  She's been going into the office once a week for a few weeks now and they kept changing the day so she never knew until Friday when she got a text which day it was!  What a way to run a business!

We really did denise, and it was the only night away from the house we've had since December last year so enjoyed the change of scenery!

Luckily I don't have a need to go to the office - in fact I've been there once since March and I took the opportunity to clear out my desk just in case, and I can do my actual job completely remotely.  When I started in January I was actually supposed to be working from home 3 days a week anyway because they didn't think they had a desk for me   They're starting to ramp up re-deployment talks again so I might end up back in A&E again which would probably be worse this time around because of the regular winter pressures we have anyway let alone with Covid on top.  Better get practicing my blood taking skills just in case.  Hope you're daughter gets a regular working pattern at some point, that's really bad not knowing if you're coming or going.

Morning all!  Happy birthday bubbs, hope you're having a rest today as it seems you're constantly on the go!

Did a weights workout this morning and almost dropped a dumbbell on my head because my arms were starting to give out  Feeling very energised after it though so the endorphins are definitely flowing.  Had porridge again for breakfast but tried the aldi almond milk - definitely too nutty for me, much prefer the almond breeze unsweetened instead.  Topped it with the last of the frozen raspberries and a squirt of honey.  Having pumpkin soup for lunch today (ended up with cheese and crackers yesterday just because it was what I fancied) and then mushroom risotto for dinner tonight.

Hope you're all staying safe and have a good day.
