Back from golf and played absolutely rubbish and didn't enjoy it one bit! Played the first hole well and it went downhill from there - glad we were only playing 9 holes! Still at least I've got a reasonable number of steps in so far and will still manage to get some more in this afternoon.
Have sorted out my menu plan and lunch is on and should be ready by about 1.15pm, which is quite late for us:
B - overnight oats - oats; yoghurt, skinny syrup, mixed frozen fruit - HEB; F; S
L - jacket potato, cottage cheese, salad - P; S; F
D - beef casserole, mash (DH will have dumplings as well!) - P; S; F
HEA - milk
HEB - porridge oats
Syns - none planned but may have a rum or two, depending on how I feel later

Afternoon all. Woke up feeling a bit under the weather this morning but pretty sure it's just a cold. Made myself look fairly presentable for the training session I had to run this morning but now back in bed with the laptop to make myself feel better. Didn't feel up to breakfast today but had another portion of pumpkin soup for lunch with a slice of bread and hoping to have quorn swedish style meatballs for dinner tonight with mash, broccoli and gravy.Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20171

Take care of yourself ruby. You did the right thing going back to bed. 😊
I did bite the bullet and went to WI this morning. I decided it was best to talk to consultant in person as wasn't getting anywhere with texts. She was replying but not really answering my questions. I was 1lb out of range, which is better than I expected. We've decided that, as she knows I'm perfectly capable of losing 1lb in grace week , next week she'll put me down as top of target and leave it there until after lockdown. Apparently I'm the only person in her 4 groups that doesn't own scales! I repeated what you'd said denise in that SW advise you not to weigh at home and she saw my point. I also took Bubbs' advice and went straight to Boots and weighed there. Their scales weigh 1lb lighter so that's a good guide if I want to go in a couple of weeks and check how I'm doing.
I'd not been to group since the tiers and rule of 6 were introduced so now it's just a drop in session which is barely more than weigh and go. If you're inclined to do it, I think you'd get more from Zoom. I think I'd be thinking hard about whether it was worth the £5 for current groups. I think this thread is better and it's free!!🤣
We're out for a meal tonight so I'm going to relax and then start again tomorrow. 😉 I've got quite a few syns left so I'll use those up (and probably more) and then reset at 105 in the morning.
Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit (F), HEB Puffed Wheat, HEA milk
L- JP (F) with cottage cheese (P), spring onion, cornichons, tomato, beetroot (S)
D- tbc😊1 -
Glad your consultant is understanding maman and lb out of range is pretty good after all this time. At least with her putting you down as -lb next week and being in target you won't have to pay! Our group definitely wasn't just a weigh and go - consultant booked in up to 30 people per session, whether they stayed or not and still had IT with the limited number of people who stayed. I stayed a few times but really didn't enjoy it, definitely not like it was before lockdown. I suspect that after this lockdown I'll be just weighing and going every 8 weeks, just to keep access to the website - I'm definitely not getting anything out of group any more.
Have decided I'm going to carry on relaxing today (I weighed this morning as if I had gone to group and I'm still lb inside target although put on 0.5lb) and will reset with 105 tomorrow and try and lose going forward.
Enjoy your meal out maman and definitely use those syns up! No good letting them go to waste when you can't carry them forward, LOL!

Evening all
hope everyone is well & Ruby you feel better.
Maman, that's exactly why I'm not going to SW anymore - well until things get back to normal at least ..i don't want to sound uncharitable but I was getting a little fed up of the same people moaning about gaining weight but admitting that they'd over-syned, not to mention getting a little worked up about the language that's used in classes about food.Apart from the usual breakfast & soup for dinner I had sesame chicken with egg & spinach rice for tea & will have it again on Thursday to use up the chicken & spinach ....who said I was repetitive with food 😆2 -

DH said to me last night, see you are not taking a picture of your tea tonight 🤣🤣🤣
Morning all
Although i have not been to group i know she does a talk too, strange how they are all doing different, thought it was more or less the same all the time, i would def not pay £5 for a zoom meeting!!
I have my breakfast cooking and washing in, took dh work and popped in Morrisons as his laces went again in his boots, that's 3 pairs in less then 3 months! They are useless how they make them now

Very organised indeed bubbs. I'm not even dressed yet but I have put the bedding in the washing machine. Just about to go and get showered and dressed and then it'll be time for breakfast.
Once breakfast is done I'll be cooking the chickpeas which have been soaking overnight. I'll get the pressure cooker out to cook them as it's so much quicker than just boiling them so saves quite a bit on the electric!
