Evening all,
Been AWOL for a few days. Had a few days off with OH, and it was a bit non-stop as we were hardly home for 4 days. Back to work and it's been hectic. At least it's a 3 day working week for me this week, and thank speed foods it's Friday tomorrow.
On the days off food was VERY off-plan, and I took a peek on the scales and had a strong word with myself, and been on plan again since yesterday.
Yest. Plan:
b - bacon, eggs, tomatoes, wm toast HEB, beans, spread (2)
L - chicken thigh, lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, dressing (1); sf jelly (1), strawberries, mango & melon
D - garlic chicken, savoury veggie rice, lettuce, tomatoes & cucumber, dressing (1)
HEA - milk in teas
Today's plan:
b - porridge HEB with water & splash of milk from HEA, sugar (1.5), sliced apple & cinnamon
l - lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, savoury rice, dressing (1) chicken thigh; was too busy to have my jelly & fruit
d - MrT lf cumberland sausages (2.5) with mash & beans, gravy (1)
I hope the mouth is healing Beanie. I'm sure you look thinner already after 3 days, despite what the scales may say
One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home0 -
Hiya, sorry I’ve been AWOL. I was away at the weekend and I’ve just overdone it a bit so I’m struggling a bit with my fibromyalgia pain levels at the moment as they’re very, very high- at an intensity I’m not used to. I toppled off plan on Sunday night (admittedly not by much) and again Monday and had a curry Tuesday. However I maintained at WI on Tuesday so I’ll take that
Been on plan Wednesday and Thursday. Not been easy though as pain has just made me want to stuff my face with mounds of buttered toastI may just be lurking and not posting but I’m about, I promise. I’m okay, I’ll get through it but things just a bit difficult right now. Thanks and love to you all xx*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.201 -
Maintain for me this week, happy with that as I had eaten out twice (was good for those) but ate all in sight on Sunday, felt like a pig, but jumped back on plan from Monday so pulled it back, that is the one thing about this, we become so accustomed to doing the right thing, that we are able to reverse any damage quickly.A smile costs little but creates much1

Morning all, the sun is shining here this morning, which is nice after yesterday's rain.
I'm still reading just not posting as my plans are not quite SW friendly whilst I'm away. I tried yesterday lunchtime at Wetherspoons but they'd actually sold out of jacket potatoes at 1 o'clock! How very dare they? So I ended up with chips with my gammon & eggs instead. There was a bit of Speed - a flat mushroom and half a tomato! also a pile of peas. Very nice it was too.
Have a good day and weekend everyone. Will read from time to time when I can get a better signal than I've been able to most of the time! That's the problem with being rural - it's the same problem I have at home but I'm happy to keep trying to get on when I'm at home!

Morning all! Sounds like you're having a good time denise, hope the weather is kinder to you over the weekend.
Hope the pain levels drop off Mrs R and hope your mouth gets better soon beanie.
That's a good point GTQ, we all know the plan inside and out so know what we need to do to get back on track. Well done with the maintain.
Went for my walk in the rain yesterday - thought I must be mad about half way round the route but actually felt energised when I got home. Hoping that the walking along with the workouts helps make some visible changes to my body soon.
B - Porridge (HEB & 1/2 HEA unsweetened almond milk), strawberries
L - Vegetable stir fry, miso soup
D - Cod, SW chips and mushy peas
S - Hot chocolate (1/2 HEA & 2 syns), popcorn (3.5 syns)Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20172 -
Hi everyone, I am a long-time lurker on this thread & occasional poster in the past but I just wanted to let you all know that for some reason Maman has been banned from the forums - she posts regularly on another thread I post on and we noticed she went ‘missing’ at the end of last week. We have contacted the moderators and admin but haven’t been able to find out anything from them ☹️.

hi all, just to add to what sukeyboo said, maman was a long-time poster on the thread Giving Up/Cutting Down Alcohol thread, and we are all completely gobsmacked - she's been on the thread for years and speaking personally I can hardly think of a nicer, saner, more down-to-earth, supportive, funnier person, or someone less likely to offend/break rules - we don't understand what's happened.3
