    Afternoon all 👋🏻
WI with loss of 1lb, was hoping for more as had tummy issues (resulting in more blood test 🥴) also not eating much due to heat but AM drinking more 🤗. Still it’s a loss 😀.
Announcing another Great Nephew (Zachary Rowen) Brothers grandson this time Ezra is sisters grandson 🥰. One of these days I might be announcing my own grand child but not holding my breath 🤣.
Been shopping at MrTs today and am shocked at how much prices have gone up! New potatoes I bought last week for 49p were 99p today, spending at least £20 more a week 😱 and with less money coming in it’s going to be a struggle 🥺 Cutting back where I can though.
Enjoy the weather while it lasts, forecasting thunderstorms 🥴

    Hiya
Didnt even realise how late it was, been watching Four in a Bed on All4. Had a lovely day Friday but it was horrifically warm- think I sweated about a stone off :D Got some nice things including 4 tins of the M&S low syn Irish Stew (£14- ouch!) got my body sprays from Victoria’s Secret which I went for, along with some loungewear bottoms, a t-shirt and vest top which I definitely didn’t go for! :D

I spent ages in Yours looking for a top to wear to the Ronan Keating gig, got really frustrated as couldn’t find one. I wanted something with a bit of sparkle, to wear with a black and white striped jacket, black jeans and red glittery shoes.

Everything I liked was the wrong colour or pattern though- came out of there very frustrated. Went into Next but again found nothing and was just about to give up when I found the most gorgeous lilac floaty vest top shot through with gold glitter. I was so happy I had found something! Best part of the day was the trip there and back though- I was in first class and the seats were comfy and the air con freezing. It was blissful!

Unfortunately it was a write off food wise. There wasn’t many places open to get some food in the station, all Boots had left was a few sandwiches. I hadn’t eaten all day so i succumbed to a triple Coronation Chicken wrap, 2 mini cheese and onion rolls, a bag of crisps and a bottle of apple juice. I decided to flexi syn Friday, picked myself up, dusted myself off, and got back on the wagon on Saturday.
My brother paid me back some money he owed me so I treated myself and did a West Coast foods Skinni order- burgers, sweet chilli burgers, beef and pork kebabs, black pudding, haggis, and Skinni slice. It’s coming on Wednesday and I am very much looking forward to that! I love their stuff and it’s very SW friendly, but it’s also expensive (there’s a minimum order of £25) so I don’t have it often, it’s a rare treat for me.
    Saturday’s food:
B: HEXB HiFi x 2, decaf coffee with HEXA, easy peeler, pear
L: 4 Ryvita cracked black pepper (6) with HEXA Laughing Cow Light Blue Cheese and low fat Carvery ham (this was really nice- from Morribobs) tomatoes. Pear. Bag of Hula Hoops Pufts (3.5) Water
    T: HM Nando’s chicken (4) couscous (0.5) salad with f/f vinaigrette. Fab lolly (4)
    S: 2 x Aldi skinny burgers (1) and a fried egg, water
    Syns: 19
    Night all xx

It's absolutely sweltering here 31+ degrees. I've stayed indoors out of the heat except for venturing to the washing line.
It won't stop me having a roast dinner though! 😀

That meat order sounds good MrsR. I love black pudding but I haven' t bought any in 10 years just the very occasional taste in a hotel. Glad you've drawn that line today and you could always cut down a few syns through the week if needs be. I've never really understood flexi syns  but a syn bank works well for me.

I portioned up the Bolognese I made last night for the freezer and kept some out for my lunch today. Tonight's chicken is a YS joint from Tesco. It's meant to be 3 syns but I think that's for the skin so I'll count it as free except for meat juices/fat  I use for the gravy.

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit, banana, skinny syrup (F),HEB porridge, HEA milk
L- JP (F), Bolognese (P,S), beetroot and pickled cabbage (S)
D- roast chicken (P), SW roast potatoes (F), carrot & swede mash, red cabbage, green cabbage, kale, cauli, broccoli (S)
Syns- HM gravy 4?, weekend wine 🍷😉
