Morning all.  What a scorcher over the weekend!  Can't believe you didn't have KFC on Friday bubbs.  Even I had KFC and it wasn't the SW kind   DH wasn't feeling brilliant from the heat and didn't fancy the pasta I'd planned so he ordered from up the road.  Your shopping trip sounds lovely Mrs_R, glad you managed to find a nice top to wear (I'm partial to some glitter and sparkles myself) and yay for first class air conditioning.

Had a relaxed Saturday and then yesterday my parents came over to see us.  Was the first time I've seen them in person since Christmas and we all got a little emotional when they left.

Happy to report a 1.4lb loss this week which is the water weight from last week's bloating.  Got back on the exercise train this morning and got in some strength training before breakfast and feeling good for it.  Hoping to go for a walk after work today as well.  Trying to get myself back into some form of routine!

B - Branflakes (HEB), skimmed milk (1/2 HEA), strawberries and blueberries
L - Herby pork balls, cucumber salad
D - Sticky green stir fry (pak choi, broccoli, green beans, beef strips, hoisin sauce) 2.5 syns, rice

Well done on your loss ruby. 😉
It's absolutely baking here still although it is under 30 degrees (just) compared with the weekend. I tried on a dress this morning that I bought for a (cancelled☹) event just before lockdown. Delighted to say that nearly 5 months on it still fits. If it's still hot on Thursday I might wear it to go out for dinner. 😁

DH has a Zoom meeting this evening so I changed the meal plan around for something that won't be spoiled if it drags on a bit. 😉 Not too much Speed in the casserole (onions, mushrooms, carrots) so I'll have a bowl of berries and yogurt at some point too.

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit (F), scrambled eggs (P), HEB toast, HEA milk
L- cold meat (P), fried potato (F), fried veg and pickles (S)
    D- sausage casserole (P,S) with tagliatelle (F)
Syns- HP sauce 1, Aldi sausages 1

Afternoon all, it's just too hot!  We've moved on from Rye now to near Battle and actually managed to find a space in a fairly shaded part of the field so it's not as bad as it has been.  In fact the sun has now disappeared behind some trees so hopefully it will start cooling down a bit now!

Haven't been too bad food wise the last few days but the alcohol has flowed a bit!  Today is definitely on plan as couldn't find a cafe open when we went into Rye this morning - DH decided he wanted to eat out for breakfast!  So we ended up with an on plan breakfast!

    Today's plan:

    B - weetabix, milk - HEA/HEB
    L - chicken (LO from yesterday) salad - P; S
D - roast pork (from freezer); mash; veg

HEA - some for breakfast; some for tea (not drinking much it too hot!)
    HEB - weetabix
Syns - couple of pastis 6

    Well done for joining. 🙂
Overnight oats can be quite claggy I suppose it depends what you like.
The easiest cereal is Weetabix as you just count out 2 for a HEB. Personally, I like Puffed Wheat because you get quite a lot but with most cereal the amount is tiny. Slice a banana on top to bulk it up. I know it's not Speed but it's filling.
Personally I prefer to have a cooked breakfast with things like eggs and beans and toast.
I rarely have Speed at breakfast, but eat loads at other meals.
You should now have access to the website where all the HEBs are listed so you know which cereals are OK.
