Hi ladies, is that Chris that did the chart popping in? Is it time to start recording again and having SOW (slimmer of the week)- been reading along and gaining a few pounds along the way, really should find a chiropodist for the corns then I could walk further. Happy to do the chart if wrong Chris - how about from 1st August as it's a Saturday?
No, sorry, different Chris ;)   Used to post on Old Style, Grabbit, and in The Arms, but popped in here as I am thinking of joining SW - like half of the nation, I've gained a lot of weight during lockdown :)

Welcome back Tete.  A good idea to get back into the swing of SW so that you feel better about yourself when you do go back to the office next year.

bubbs I would say it would include the sauce if there is no mention of it.

Had a tot up my syns for the week and not as bad as I'd feared!  After I'd taken into account the ones I posted this morning I still had 15.5 syns left for the rest of today and tomorrow, which isn't too bad.  I didn't think I'd have as many as that left after wine syns last night!

Chris not sure I'd welcomed you to the thread so I'll say it now "Welcome".  If you want any advice just ask.  Group are restarting w/c 10 August but you'd need to contact the consultant to see whether you would be able to attend as they are limiting numbers and shortening the sessions.  The new sessions are only going to be 45 minutes:  15 minutes WI, 30 minutes Image Therapy with 15 minutes for wiping down before the next session.  As far as I can make out there are going to be more groups but numbers limited to a maximum of 30 people which of course will depend on the size of the venue.

Went shopping this morning and finally managed to get one of the Lidl £1.50 boxes of fruit and veg:  talk about good value - I got 2 lots of strawberries; big box of mixed grapes; box of cherries; pack of 2 Red Romain lettuce; 4 nectarines; bag of easy peelers; 4 jacket potatoes; 2 large sweet potatoes; red cabbage; satsumas.  Will have to go shopping early next time I go there and see if I can get another one!  They only had 2 boxes but the other box didn't look to have any veg in it at all.  The only veg I needed to buy was some carrots!

Off to have a cuppa now having got the washing in, folded and put away!

  • So good to see some of the oldies (not meant offensively!) back and newbies joining the merry band!

Having a really good day, achieved a lot, although some of it was unbelievably stressful, both workwise & charity wise, could be very easy to celebrate and go off the rails badly, so will treat myself to another banana split, thoroughly enjoyed the one I had the other night for a low syn treat, that should keep me on the straight & narrow.
A smile costs little but creates much :)

Food looks lovely as always Bubbs  :)
    Hi everyone (waves)
No running today. Food has been good:
    B - weetabix and skimmed milk (HEA/HEB)
    L. - Mexican pouch rice (2), grated cheese (HEA2), lettuce and tomatoes (S)
D - chicken passanda curry (pinch of nom), rice, mango chutney (6.5)
Snacks - Apple, satsumas, banana, strawberries
Might do the Manchester Pudding recipe from Pinch of Nom tomorrow. Will be HEB plus 1.5 syns for FF vanilla yoghurt and 1 tsp jam. I dislike coconut so not authentic but also less syns  ;)
    Have a good evening all.
