It's difficult to judge how long journeys will take at the moment denise. Around here, 2/3 mile journeys which can take half an hour in peak time can be just a few minutes. It's brilliant, long may it last.
Meal plan and shop day today. I've got very little meat left in the freezer so will definitely need to buy some. I'm missing the YS bits and pieces I could get from Sainsbury's. I have some HM ready meals and fish though so not too expensive a week.
Today's EE plan-
B- NAS Ribena (F), HEB toast, HEA milk, fried eggs and bacon (P)
L- sardines (P) and pickles (S)
D- Fake KFC (P), SW chips (F), tomato, mushrooms, asparagus, sugar snaps (S)
Syns- HP sauce 1, weekend wine

I bought spring onions, plums, red peppers and they had Jersey Royals in our shop on Super 6 too.
And I got Aldi Light cheese triangles (6 for HEA) as I'm going to try the garlic mushrooms this week. About how much water do you put to mushrooms bubbs? Did you make the recipe up?

bubbs can I ask how much stock you use in your cauliflower cheese sauce? I've made some for the fish pie tonight but think I probably used too much stock as it's a bit thinner than I'd like. I did reboil it after I'd blended it to try to thicken it up a bit for it wasn't particularly successful! When I put the mash on top it didn't sit there very well. Just hope the fish pie tastes ok once it's cooked!
It's KFC for us tomorrow night!
