    Hi,

I had 4/6 vouchers which expired on the 21st July. I asked if these could be extended and the answer is that Cineworld and VUE are automatically extending all vouchers which expired prior to the end of August, until 31st May 2021.

No point extending the vouchers if they close permanently!

I think its just temporary, March 2021 has been mentioned.
The problem is if the situation is still the same and they postpone the re reopening again.
  • Whilst it might be difficult for Lloyds (due to different prices around the country) I wonder if there is an option to give us some nominal amount per unused ticket?

We received our Cineworld tickets on 8th August and never used them. Is it just a case of hanging on to see what happens as we still have 9 months on them?

How long do they normally have on them ?
If they still have 9 months on them then yes wait and see if they open in March and if not then is the time to ask where you stand.

that's odd i thought they stopped supplying Cineworld vouchers from May??
still waiting to hear back from Lloyds re: vouchers expiring during the cinema's shutdown until March...
  • My cineworld vouchers run out in November and I've been advised that they will be extended until May next year. So we'll have 18 vouchers for cineworld, vue and odeon in the house from this month and I would guess a dearth of decent films until well into next year. First world problems.
