Expiry of Club Lloyds Cineworld Vouchers
Comments

I have vouchers for Cineworld because a new one opened up in the city. However they now say do not accept Club vouchers.
However they had already reissued the vouchers because of the lockdown but they are useless now. Oh well have to try and. speak to Club card again. I thought it was too good to last.0 -
"went for the Rakuten TV movies"Apologies if you are aware, but I chose those too. Received and used the first code 1st June. Each "voucher" would appear to be equivalent to £5 in value. Choose a film etc. which is £5+ and the excess has to be paid prior to being available to watch.1

I had a look at the Rakuten TV with an offer code but the options seemed limited and/ or expensive.0

Codes are not valid for UHD movies, content in the “Home Premiere” category, TV shows or movie purchases."
So does that exclude any UHD movie even if it costs less than £5? If so, that doesn't leave much, if anything, worth watching.

To answer my own question:"The Movie Voucher Codes are valid for all Standard and High Definition movie rentals. Codes are not valid for UHD movies (or part payment towards), content in the “Home Premiere” category, TV shows or movie purchases."https://www.clublloyds.com/utility/faqs.aspx

New vouchers valid until April. I’m not sure if this process was automatic or in response to contacting them a month ago, but looks like they’ve got their act in place.Retired at age 56 after having "light bulb moment" due to reading MSE and its forums. Lots of discussion here around Cineworld and Rakuten vouchers.
I have had Vue vouchers each year for a few years, and my latest ones expire in October 2020 - 4 of my 6 are unused.
I emailed asking if they will extend the validity given cinemas have been closed for so long and nothing new has been on... and eventually got an email back today saying that no they won't give an extension because the cinemas are now open.
Has anyone with Vue vouchers, expiring since July rather than during the initial lockdown, had an answer to the contrary?
I will manage to use 2 out of the 4 without too much trouble so it is not the end of the world but would have preferred to use the others nearer Christmas / when there are actually new films out.

this is interesting as i've contacted them numerous times (re Cineworld vouchers) about extending expiry date and haven't received a definitive answer.
mine expire Dec but hadn't used any until recently and obviously lost almost 6 months during lockdown.
i wonder why some people have heard back/had theirs extended but i haven't had an answer??
in fact i emailed Cineworld yesterday to see if they can sort it as Lloyds are dragging their feet.....
p.s. really disappointed Cineworld are no longer offered as they are only a 15min bike ride from me, Vue/Odeon are at least a 15min drive!
