ggtazzy said:Seems strange your father just got one in fourth week of lockdown I hope he has not been going out the last four weeks.
I've been self isolating though for the last 4 weeks and doing extreme social distancing for weeks before that as I knew I was very at risk if I got it.
I had initially been concerned I had fallen through the cracks but then started to feel relieved that I still had the same freedoms (even if I didn't use them) as everyone else under the guidelines. I vocalised that thought on Tuesday...think I may have jinxed myself there! We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
My dad got a letter about four weeks ago and we thought it might be easier to get an online order according to most of the supermarkets. We have an account with Asda but it's in my mom's name it's a nightmare trying to get an order. Has anyone else had any problems ordering.

A bit the same as the previous three comments made about when they received government letters which have nothing to do with benefits either

My mother is extremely vulnerable with MS/Heart disease etc. and she hasnt received a letter as of yet.

The first round of letters were generated from NHS diagnostic notes where people were directly under a consultant. The later ones are where GPs have provided lists of those with conditions in the top group but not under a consultant as such or were maybe borderline for the first round.0

Gig1968 your dad needs to register on government website as extremely vunerable then create a Tesco account in his name then give Tesco a call tell them he has the letter and they open up priority slots in his Tesco account I had same problem I am now sorted with priority slots hope this helps0
