My dishwasher (or washing machine) waste pipe has split and is leaking 🙈 I’ve shoved a towel under it and ordered some repair tape. I don’t know if that will work though 😞
wasn’t going to go to the shop but my mum came over and wanted biscuits and I didn’t have any so went and ended up spending £22 🤦♀️ Most expensive was chicken for my dogs and a big pack of toilet paper. Stuff I did need. I’m trying to cut my food spend though so not sure if this was my best shopI bought some kids joggers online, they kinda fit but are snug. I’ll wear them though as they were only £9 and are cute. Maybe just home joggers though.Back at work tomorrow and I’m sad my break is over. I’m not well so not looking forward to working and I’ve lost my voice so can’t really talk on the phone.2 -
Oh no to voice, drink warm water it helps and the washing machine, i hope it can be sorted cheaply. Good luck.Aiming for a minimal spend 20221

I think you can buy replacement pipes, but it means getting the machine out and bit of fiddling to swap them over and shoving the machine back in place. Check YT and see what videos are up or have a read of your DIY book.
Some of the kids clothes are so cute compared to the boring adult ones.
Hope you feel better soon, warm water, lemon and brandy is an old recommended one.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -

Half fixed the washing machine. It’s left the pipe too long so I have bought a replacement to swap, just need to figure out how as I need to get it behind the washing machine somehow! Plus then I need to wrap the pipe attached to the actual dishwasher around the back of it to keep it out the way… then hopefully it works. Just struggling to find the motivation as it’s not leaking at least anymore.I’ve now created a huge list of things I need to do around my home but finding the time and energy is hard. Weekends seem to go way too fast 😞 when can I retire already?! 🙈
I got dropped from one of my freelance jobs which although I’ll miss the income I’m a little glad as I was finding it too much doing 2 hours work extra every day on top of a full time job. Now I just have to do 1 hour extra a day.I signed up to a data management course to see if I can retrain as a data analyst, it’s a 140 hour free course so I’ll try do half a day on weekends until I’ve completed it. Worth a try. I don’t know what else to do with my life. I can’t keep doing the same as I am now forever as I feel trapped.
still feeling very sad that I’m so far behind on my savings and still not sure I’ll reach my goals. I’m 90% certain my boss won’t give me a pay rise yet again this year so I know ill be even worse off with the rampant inflation we are experiencing which worries me a bit.Going to go give a dog a cuddle now to try cheer up2 -
I think it is great that you have tried to fix the machine, good luck with it. It will be good if you can rest a bit now you have given up one of your jobs. Training as a data analyst sounds good. I think you are doing really well. You have a house which many people dont have. Please dont be hard on yourself. I think you are doing sooo well. Sometimes i get upset (most of the time) as i think i dont have much savings but we have more than some. Keep going ok. hugs, swx
