OPC responses are always flippant. I love reading them.2

No formal introduction - Name and POPLA code should be sufficient. Then bullet point replies (rather than leggy sentences) against their assertions, follow the order in their evidence. Use as little punctuation as possible. You can't add any new evidence of your own not already referenced in your appeal, so resist the temptation, otherwise it's wasting valuable characters. Anything from your appeal which they have not rebutted, you state they must have accepted (if you've sufficient spare characters).Scrapit said:ok, its difficult to lambaste the evidence provided in so few words, im struggling to get to the magic 2000 characters. Ive removed most of the flippancy and derision, do i need any formal introduction or can i just say point 1.blah blah bla? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

In which case, they accept it.You never know how far you can go until you go too far.1

And that is exactly what you say plus emphasis. I think an advantage of the word limit is that you have to write short, blunt sentences and using capitals for emphasis doesn't seem like shouting e.g. 'OPS have NOT commented on (main point) at all. They therefore clearly accept that ....'That makes life easier, they have ignored my main point.3 -
i assume replacing and with ampersand is acceptable?1

I've sent it. lets see what this sham decide.0

I think you should win. Most coherent responses to obviously inadequate evidence do seem to, I think.
Here's hoping.2 -
Successful, however they ignored the first and main point as well. OPS can not and should not be issuing these charges.3

Gosh, that was quick! Nice one.Scrapit said:Successful, however they ignored the first and main point as well. OPS can not and should not be issuing these charges.
Funny feeling when the point you felt most confident about isn't what clinches it, but who cares? A win's a win. Scrapit 1, OPS nil. A small nail in their coffin.3
