Ooh, what was the decision (please add paragraphs to it...and add it to POPLA Decisions, too).Scrapit said:Successful, however they ignored the first and main point as well. OPS can not and should not be issuing these charges.
I got your PM, what a lot of evidence they threw at it! haha!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

😆🤣 excellent work by the council 👏scrappy_returns said:https://www.romfordrecorder.co.uk/news/elm-park-car-park-under-investigation-by-council-8402300
environment enforcement officers from the council have visited the site and sent One Parking Solution two fixed penalty notices and a community protection warning demanding the removal of the lettering2 -

As mentioned in the poopla appeal the evidence supplied by OPS shows vehicles positioned over the lettering, ie on local government owned pavement. The photos do not (or didn't at least) show the vehicle in the car park.4

First off, yes, I've read the stickies. Not the clearest between the DO NOT POST HERE, the posts immediately after (Why?!) and the sheer weight of info and TLA's (three letter acronyms).
Any way I've received a PCN from One Parking Solution through the post. I've sent the initial appeal via their website and unsurprisingly received the generic decline to the appeal.
The car park used to be council and recently changed to private management. As such I cannot complain to a retailer but I can chuck.an email at the MP, I presume it's still council land.
So, what's next? The POPLA appeal?
I wonder if anyone can help re this original post .
A family member due in court for the same car park and similar reasons.
Will these said points stand in my defense , the claiment has sent lots of supposed papers of evidence . But obviously the original fine was in mar 2020 and the signs may have changed between then and now?

Comparing an old POPLA appeal by someone who moaned about the NEWBIES thread but still expected bespoke help, to your case (that is not the same and not at POPLA stage) is a mistake.
Unless this thread's earlier pages contain some useful signage photos, this thread is not for you.
Start your own new thread, telling us there (NOT HERE) when you got the claim form and showing us exactly what you put (word for word) as your defence. Plus what your witness statement deadline is and some info. including which car park/what went wrong.
NO REPLIES HERE PLEASE - OLD THREAD.
