This morning I've been to the gym and am going out for a carvery at lunch with my brother and Mum. Other than that I'm not too sure yet - its overcast today so not a tanning beach kinda day. I do want to get some surveys in today if I can.

I let myself have £3 on a slot today, haven't used any since the football season finished, and I won £55 :)
Now to decide whether to chuck it in the elec/gas fund or whether to stock up the fridge / cupboards a bit before the new month starts, or whether to keep it for extra spends this month. Hmm, my logic is saying the elec/gas fund, but regardless it is a very welcome and unexpected addition to my banking today :)

Actually, decision made, its going in the gas/electric fund. Tomorrow is my birthday so I will probably get some money there if I need any extra spends this month. Transferred already before I change my mind and signature updated :)

Morning, I had a lovely birthday and have been really good this week so far - I'm going to the gym every other day but making sur e I stick to my calories too as that had got a bit silly with all the eating out last week. Since Monday I've lost 3lbs :) Yesterday I did gym, swim, sauna and steam, then a long walk in the forest and a few planks. My legs were feeling it last night but its all worth it.
I met a new guy for coffee last night, seems nice - same as me isn't looking for anything too official, just some company now and then.
I'm waiting to go for my walk but need to wait for the washing machine to finish as ds needs his trousers done for work this afternoon and he forgot to put them in the wash yesterday. 5 more minutes ;)

Today I've had a lovely day, I met up with a friend from work, we did a 10 mile walk at the beach then had lunch on the seafront, was a lovely day and I have caught the sun :) I did pop to the shops and bought some trousers and a top, £28 in total. I also had a new bikini delivered (£18), all of which will come out of my birthday money.

Tonight the Premier League is back, so all in all a happy day for me! Tomorrow will be a nice day too - an early morning trip to the gym, then do a few jobs at home then an afternoon on the sofa watching footie, can't wait :)

Yesterday I had a lovely day - I met a friend in the morning, we did a 10 mile walk at the beach followed by a full English breakfast on the seafront then a swim and sunbath for a few hours, was bliss!

Today I got up early and went to the gym, unfortunately I forgot my bikini so had to give the sauna a miss afterwards. When I got home I had breakfast then made a start on the garage - I've taken three loads of stuff to the tip so far, mainly old car boot stuff that has been taken 2 or 3 times and not sold - some old books, clothes, general bric-a-brac. I also took 2 old bikes, there is a section there for people to re-use stuff so the bikes and some of the books went in there. I've been to Mums for a coffee and just had lunch (edamame bean and tender stem broccoli stir-fry), now I'm going to have half an hour on here then a bit of sunbathing in the garden. I might do some work on the garden later on.

So half of the holidays have gone already and I am very aware that my list isn't looking much shorter. However, I have had a great holiday so far - lots of walking, lots of catching up with friends and generally lots of chilling out :)

Today is just a bit too hot for me, so I've come inside for a while and thought it was about time I started thinking about what I need to get done. Next week the weather is supposed to be back to a pleasant temperature, so I am planning on finishing the garage etc then. Today will be more of a planning day again :)

Yesterday I went shopping with a friend to the nearest outlet village, I did spend just under £100 on clothes, however this included a puffer coat from Superdry, (£44), I meant to buy a new winter coat last year but managed to get through the winter without it, I did see a nice one in North Face but that was £200 so I'm very chuffed with my £44 coat :) I also got a long sleeved white t-shirt in Superdry (£12) and a pair of tan leather sandals in Timberland (£18 reduced from £70), I've got flip-flops but can't wear them to work, so these will suffice until I'm back in my boots in the Autumn. Lastly I bought ds a baseball cap £9 in Adidas and 4 pairs of trainer socks in Calvin Klein (£8), these will all be going in his Christmas stocking. I will take this £100 from my tutoring money, I haven't spent any of that on myself so that is my little treat.
