That all sounds exciting. I am also looking for a new car. I am so impressed with your savings Benben, how the heck do you do it? I keep accidently spending mine. I certainly wouldn't have enough money to lend a friend.

So after a lot of driving around I'm back and I got one
I am super excited!!
We went to look at two locally first, but they both had lots of chips and the wheels were in a state. My mechanic mate told me not to touch either of them, we then drove about 35 miles to see another one and I loved itTurns out the salesman knew my mate too so they were chatting for quite a bit. Anyway, he checked it all over and was very happy with it, the guy is getting it valeted and mot'ed (already has one til January but will do a 12 month one from now), then I can pick it up some time next week. I am so happy
We got it for £5300, waiting to hear how much he'll offer to part/x my car, if not Webuyanycar are offering approx £3k, I need to make an appointment with them for an accurate figure, so I am probably looking at about £2,300 - £2,500 from my money. Tonight will be spent doing as many surveys as I can get my hands on

I love doing things like that quickly! and absolute genius getting it MOTed as getting it redone in the holidays is easier. I should get another car. Trouble is I love my current car. I keep meaning to ask how is the twangy hula hooping going? Do you recommend it?

Thanks Buffy
I'm really lucky with my MOT's - aforementioned best mates other half is a mechanic and he picks my car up from work, MOTs it and returns it to work for me, and I get it at his staff discount rate too
I'm a very lucky girl
The hula-hoop has been having a well earned rest over the summerI really must get back to it as I enjoy doing it, its just too easy when you haven't got your normal routine to let things slide. I will get back to it and report back for you

I keep seeing clips on FB reels, which I spend far too much time watching! of women using them and am intrigued.
thank youNevertheless she persisted.1 -
Webuyany car offered £2,300 (initial estimate £3150 on website, but they lower it when you go in). He has offered £3,000 p/x so I'm going with that, so £2,300 in total to pay. Can't wait!!Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000
