You are very organised with everything , I will take a few tips from your posts. You will still have the £12,000 you borrowed your friend to come back monthly as well , or did you change your mind ?Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.1

Sunshine Girl - the £12,000 is part of my brothers money that I saved, so will go straight back into that pot, first payment should be here at the end of the week
End of the Rainbow - I forgot to mention my cards ... so, you have to renew each year, its only around £12.50 I think, but that covers liability insurance for the next year as well as my online website. I have been thinking lots about it as I'm not sure whether to continue - since lockdown small craft fairs / events that usually charged £15 - £20 a pitch are now charging £25 - £35 and footfall at almost all events has dropped. With the cost of living crisis ahead it does seem that cards are somewhere that people may cut back, they aren't essential after all. However I do have lots of stock now, so am thinking I might renew for another year, not buy in stock but focus on reducing what I already have. Yep, that's the plan, decision madeMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Great updates on spendings, savings and plans. It seems like the start of the new school year is like the start of a new calendar year - a fresh start.
I felt for you ob Saturday with the footie - things can only get better.1 -
Thanks Blackcats, once I got started I was on a roll
A new school year is like a new calendar year, you're right, I feel motivated and organised at the moment, it may not last once the chaos of work kicks back in but right now I'm feeling ready to go!
I actually don't expect things to get better anytime soon ... never rated our manager, we only just scraped promotion and everyone locally said then our squad was nowhere near good enoughLets see how long the board hold on before we change the manager ...
I checked my prolific account earlier and this month so far I have got £40 in there, that will be transferred to savings at the end of the month but will start the fund off nicelyMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Morning all, up, showered and just having my first coffee of the day. I checked my banking when I got up and the first repayment from my friend has gone in so I need to transfer that back to its original pot so it doesn't get mixed in with my money
Last night I posted a parcel for Vinted, only £3 but that will go in the pot when it arrives. Later on I need to go and collect the curtain pole I ordered and some trousers for work. If the trousers are no good they can go back and the money will go towards some shoes for the winter for work as currently I'm going back in sandals. I want to pay some cash in to the bank while I'm there too, I seem to have accumulated it over the summer, (birthdays, Mum always uses cash), but other than when I get my nails done I never use it anymore so it needs paying in. I also need to go and pick up Mum from my brothers this evening too. I might sort my bag out ready for work on Thursday too, I always have loads to take in on the first day - my mug, weighed out porridge, cutlery, new stationery etcMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Well that didn't take long did it, we sacked him this morningHopefully now our season can start properly and we'll get a decent manager who doesn't moan about our players in every interview

I had a very happy, Liverpool-supporting husband on Saturday🙊😊I really need to sort out a new signature!1

Yes indeed - I don't think replacing the manager was a surprise. I think Parker has potential but not in the premier league - he failed at Fulham too. Onwards and upwards.
I smiled at the idea of packing your bag for school including new stationery - very good.

Morning, for some reason I'm up with the lark this morning, I was looking forward to a leisurely lie-in on my last day of my holiday but my body had other ideas, so instead I've grabbed the laptop and come back to bed with it, something I very rarely do,
Last night I went to pick Mum up and got hopelessly lost on the way, and ended up driving for 3 hours instead of 1.5. I did stop for a coffee at one point so another £3.75 spent
I also collected the curtain pole so will have a go at putting that up today, and collected the trousers and I'm not even going to try them on, they're absolutely hideous in real-life, they're stretchy with a line down the front, like my Nan used to wear in her care homeSo they need to be taken back.
Today Mum wants us to go to Toby Carvery for lunch, it seems to be her new favourite placeDs has a day off so we;re doing some online shopping for a new coat and trainers for him (birthday money). Other than that it will be making sure everywhere is clean and tidy, my bags are packed, looking for some more pennies and then enjoying the football tonight.

My bed has been stripped, washed and is almost dry again on the line, ds' bed will be done once he surfaces
I popped to Matalan and got a cheapy pair of loafers for work (£17), I had to get some shoes as the weather isn't looking like sandals will cut it for long, and at that price I am happy.
