Toby Carvery was closed so we went to a local tea-rooms and had lunch and I'm now stuffed and feeling like a nap, I have the Christmas afternoon slump :) I really don't want to nap though or I won't sleep tonight so I may sort out my bag soon as I didn't get it done the other day and then have a shower so I can watch the football later then straight to bed :)

Morning all, well back to school day is here all ready, I'm really not feeling it :)

I'm ready to go but wanted to come on here and check everything is et for this month. I've cashed out my prolific money, so that's £43 on its way to the savings pot this morning which starts that off nicely for the month. In my head the plan for the next 7 weeks up until half-term is to make £5 a day and not put the heating on :) Some days I won't make any but overall I'd like it to balance out by half-term, so that should be 51 days x £5 = £255, lets round it to a nice figure and say £250.

  • Good luck back at school! It's my last day off today, back to it tomorrow. Not ready either, I could happily be a lady of leisure

I really need to sort out a new signature!

First day back survived - today was an inset day so no kids in but it was full on with safeguarding training and then other meetings. Tomorrow is only the new year 7s which isn't my year group so hopefully I can get on with some calls and stuff getting set up for the year.

I did stop at the shop on the way home and buy some sweets, £2 spent but oh so needed :)

Tonight I'm having the Tesco shopping delivered, a shower and chilling. I've done a couple of surveys since I got home, hopefully a few more might appear. Can't quite believe how tired I am from doing one day ...

Tesco shopping delivered and put away - no substitutions tonight which is good but the coleslaw I ordered is best before today, and seeing as it wasn't delivered until 7.45 I'm not likely to eat a whole tub of it tonight, so grumpy message sent to Tesco.

£3 cleared into my Vinted account so that has been transferred into the savings pot too :)

And the weekends here, I can't believe I've only done two days back, and none of my kids are back til Monday, but I'm shattered :)

So I've come home and done a couple of surveys. Just done a matched bet for £6 profit which is on its way to the savings pot right now. I've got a bit of washing to do, hoover through, but otherwise the place is pretty much clean and tidy so I have the whole weekend to do as I please :)

    Enjoy your weekend.
the £5 a day challenge is very inspiring - I might try that in October when my hours at work have reduced to 2 days a week (I'm so excited).  Mine will mostly be from selling "stuff" that I don't need.
    is vinted easy to use?

Thanks Blackcats, I'm very jealous of you reducing to two days a week, that sounds lovely :)
Vinted is really easy, much easier than eBay, its getting much more popular too. It is a great way to while away an hour or two, scrolling through stuff and favouriting it, just have to remember not to buy it all!

Morning, I popped into town early today to return the trousers, I picked up a couple of food bits in M&S while I was there. Ds has gone off to football for the day, I have the place to myself and am pretty much up to date with stuff so today will be a chilling day with lots of football thrown into the mix.
