Morning all, another nice bright sunny one here today  Yesterday I did a super early beach walk, was home by 9.30 and had done my 20,000 steps. The rest of the day was spent mainly chilling in the garden which was lovely and about time too! I now have a sunburnt back and backs of my legs but hey ho :)

Today I have a friend coming over around 10 as I am dog-sitting for her for a week while she goes abroad to her Sons wedding. I've never met the dog yet so am hoping all will go fine. I've been pottering round for half an hour just tidying bits and pieces, I need to hoover but will wait til around 9 as ds is still asleep, as are most normal people at this time on a Sunday morning...

This week is the final week of my tutoring at school, its been 15 weeks and has dragged a bit but the money is very welcome, its been syphoned off into a separate pot and one day will go towards a holiday. I'm determined not to use that for heating bills.

Another weekend is here .. the weather isn't quite what was promised but its pleasantly warm. I've spent the morning pottering indoors and chatting to the original hottie, hopefully seeing him this week :)

Moneywise I've not really been up to much - I need to focus more on it again and do some more prolific surveys as I haven't done much this month.

My tutoring is now finished, hopefully will be doing more in September. I am having my friends dog from Tuesday evening onwards for a week or so, other than that not much to report. This week has been hellishly busy at work, another month to go until the end of term ...

    Quite a productive day again today;

Stripped my bed, washed, ironed and remade it
Emptied the rubbish out the car
    Weeded the front garden
    Food shopping
    Returned parcels
    Did some shopping for Mum
Weighed my porridge into bags for work for this weeks breakfasts
    Did the banking stuff

I've also had a 2 hour nap, wasn't planned but I do keep falling asleep mid-afternoon; not sure if its due to the amount of rubbish I keep eating :( I need to get my mojo back and get back on track. I know its because once again its not looking like a great summer weather-wise and that makes me feel rubbish.

Yesterday was such a good day, a mate called me and we went down the beach for a few hours, just sunbathing and catching up, then walked along the beach and got some food and then sat on the clifftop, there is a little bar and next to it they have live music out on the clifftop and everyone just rocks up with a picnic, watching the sunset. It was such a chilled, hot day and was lovely :)

Today I need to get some stuff done for work, do some housework and food shopping, and generally do life admin, while enjoying some more of the sunshine :)

And the summer holidays are here :)

It has been a crazy busy week or two, I got back from a residential trip on Wednesday evening and we finished at Thursday lunchtime. This morning I managed a bit of a lie-in, took Mum to get her hair cut and now I've made a coffee and am going to start planning the next six weeks. I'm not going away anywhere (that I have planned so far anyway :) ). I have a few goals though. So over the last year I have put a stone back on. That needs to change, I worked too hard to get into shape to let it go again. So I have joined the gym and had my induction this morning. Our local leisure centre do an offer each year, 6 weeks unlimited use of gym, pool, classes, sauna for £59. So today was day one, induction is done and now i need to plan when I'm using it this week. I also want to do my 20,000 steps every day too and some hula-hooping which hasn't happened recently. The second goal for the summer is to get the house in order - deep cleaned, decluttered and ready for the winter.

I guess its time for a time honoured tradition, my summer holiday to do list, it will be very detailed but its like a massive brain-dump that I can work through and add to as we go. I will separate it into different sections  :)

    Home & Garden:
    Fix kitchen tap
    Unblock bathroom sink
    Paint hall
    Fix hall light
    Paint downstairs toilet
    Blitz front garden
Clear car boot stuff to tip
    Gut garage
    Weed back garden
    Paint fences
    Re-stain decking
    Sort outdoor tap
    Wax coffee table
    Deep clean the hoover
    Gut wardrobe
Gut shelves at top of wardrobe
    Clean conservatory windows and roof
    Clean windows
    Clean blinds in lounge
    Shampoo carpets
    Use up / organise freezer
    Tidy area by bins
    Deep clean rubbish bins

    Fitness:
    Lose 1 stone
    20,000 steps a day
Be able to do 5 press-ups

    Other:
    Car Insurance
    Clean car
    Ears pierced
    Organise finances
    Organise matched betting accounts
    Declutter laptop
    Pick loads of blackberries
    Make £££
    Get a tv for bedroom
    Sort car warning light
Oil / water in the car

There are lots of bits I haven't put on here, mainly deep cleaning stuff, but I will probably do that on my daily lists as I do each room.
