Probably not Beanie, he was clearly quite keen for a relationship and has messaged me asking if I want a relationship ... have replied saying it was nice to meet him but there wasn't a spark etc ... I quite like walking on my own anyway with my music on
Saying that i have had quite a few offers of walking buddies from friends at work who also have 6 weeks off soon and all holiday plans cancelled
This morning I have been for a walk in the forest with the dog and got 9,000 steps under my belt for today. I also found £1 while we were walking so that was a bonusGot back and had scrambled egg on toast, the washing machine and dishwasher are doing their things, now time to tidy up a bit and do some pottering before the days footie starts. I expect I'll do another walk tonight along the beach with the dog. I am so fortunate to live where I do and have such beautiful places to walk right on my doorstep. I am going to keep a photo-log of my step journey too, probably on facebook I think. If anyone wants adding let me know

I have a friend doing the diabetes challenge. He is smashing it, lots of sunrise walks. I was supposed to be doing a 25k charity walk in May, postponed to September, but tbh think it will be cancelled. Will know for sure by the end of the month. If it isn't cancelled I will be doing a lot of walking in August 😂Debt free Feb 2021 🎉1

Drawingaline I totally agree about sunrise walks. I like to get up and get a good chunk of my steps done early. This morning the dog and I have been up the forest and have got 11,000 done already. That means that the pressure is off for the rest of the day but it also gives me a chance to bank some extra steps as September might be more difficult as I hopefully will be back at school, so I want to try and get a few extra thousand steps banked before then so that I can maybe only have to do 15k a day when I'm in school.
I have also stripped the bed and that is getting sorted in the washing machine right now, so a nice clean bed for me tonight which I'm looking forward to already
Off for some egg and bacon now, then to think about my day ahead. Bournemouth are playing tonight although West Ham and Watford both won yesterday so I think it is now just a matter of time until we're officially heading abck to the Championship

Are you raising money as well or just doing the walking. I’m up for the walking challenge but am no good at the raising money bit. Love your pics on f/bk - would love to visit that area when we have more time.1

I am raising money Dangers but that isn't my reason for doing it - there isn't a minimum to raise, I'm not promoting the fundraising but as I do fundraising stuff with my cards so don't want to be asking people for that too. For me it's about the personal challenge
RCP thanks for your pm, have replied
I've done 16k so far today, that has just taken me over the 100,000 steps in total so far

Sorry for the lack of updates - my laptop charger died and I've only got a new one today.
Today is day one of the summer holidays, it will be spent walking, catching up on housework and writing my bumper summer holiday to do listMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Hmm, well the new laptop charger doesn't seem to have fixed the problem - the battery doesn't seem to hold charge anymore, so an currently using my work laptop which is not ideal. I need to google how to try and fix it as I don't want to be buying a new battery or even a new laptop at the moment as money is scarily tight. Today ds had a shower and then couldn't turn it off, the dial just kept turning round and round but wouldn't do anything. My besties other half came over and managed to isolate the water supply but also found that there was various electrical cables under my bath / shower and there had been a water leak at some point under there too, so altogether very dangerous, so not only do I not have a shower but I am too scared to use the bath too. Looks like a new bath and shower for me as the bath was always meant to be one of the first things I replaced when I moved in, it has those ugly metal jets (it's a spa bath), and is just not nice. I need to get a couple of quotes to fit it and start looking for a bath and a shower. A very unwelcome unexpected expense
Other than that this morning I went and did a nice long walk with the dog, same planned again tomorrow, todays steps took me over the 200,000 mark which is roughly 100 miles
