Happy Easter Sunday. 🐣🍫 where the chocolate eating emoji from the old site when you need it 😂

lovely sunny day here again, hope it is with you too and you can get out and enjoy it.

    Our plans:
egg hunt with the smalls. Don’t have any eggs to find so will do clues instead and an egg at the end.
Get the Easter ‘things’ from previous years I’ve collected out and use for the day. Cardboard footprints, knitted chicks etc...
Roast dinner, use pudding that I made for yesterday that we didn’t eat
homemade wild garlic and cheese scones for snack (made these yesterday as wild garlic was in veg box) they’re amazing and would definitely recommend if anyone has any (appreciate its a niche ingredient)
last load of washing from cleaning out on the line
move a piece of furniture to a new home
see if I can decide on material for blinds. Have it down to 2. If I do, work out how much I need.
Knit - close to finishing this one!
    Triage fridge
my meal plan has gone awol. See if I can find it or if not write a new one.

Have a good day all. Purps.

Morning Purps, and everyone who comes along later :)
Totally with you on the emojis, these new ones are boring! I know you can get others, but it is a faff.
I will definitely be trying the wild garlic and cheese scones, as we have some growing under the hedge in our tiny front garden :)
Rebelled and walked the dog this morning, I am supposed to be on house arrest, but I went out before 6am and only saw a couple of other people in the distance, didn't touch anything I didn't take with me, and washed my hands particularly thoroughly when I got back.
Fed dog and feathered friends, topped up bird bath.
Finished off some apple sauce at the bottom of a jar for breakfast fruit - no waste here!
Stripped off bed, got OH to help me turn the mattress, hoovered and dusted bedroom, remade bed, linen now in machine
Cleaned bathroom (still need to wash the floor though)
    Still to do:
    Scones
Wash bathroom floor and put some stuff away upstairs on top floor.
Water and feed bathroom plants, I have orchids which are in flower most of the time :)
Washing out on line once done.
Sow some French and runner bean seeds, some courgettes and cucumbers. Water anything that needs it.
    Check banks and update spreadsheet
Lunch will be cheese, salad and some of the olive and oregano bread I made yesterday in the BM
Dinner will be pot roast pheasant (pheasant from the freezer, they are out of season now)
Hope everyone has as good a day as possible.

Hi all and happy easter. I am still on frazzled mode, not really down and definitely not up. Al relaxing, have bin out in the sun a fair bit for the last few days pretty much blazing here. Have been eating outside and last night we went for a family walk, as we all dont really have a plan I'm finding it hard and a bit of a battle to plan anything. So this morning I hit cack with a pancake breakfast and we ate together. Very nice. We'll eat dinner together as well and probably watch a bit more of Life on Mars which has turned out to be a winner.
Tonight will be a chicken tagine
Pancakes is such a cheap treat - we had some fruit with them
I'm almost out of coffee, I have spent a lot of money on food, but I still don't think I have enough for the rest of the month. With 3 of us here 24/7 I am def spending more on food. But worrying is for later, I'n not flat broke and should have a big refund coming through from ds cancelled trip, so that will have to pitch in for the end of the month - if it shows up in time.
I am doing a bit of weeding and my salads and flowers have started sprouting - welcome greenlings - ut where will I plant them when they get bigger?
Have a lovely day ans stay tuned to a cheerful beat!
