woot - I have found my decorating shorts. Found my t shirt yesterday. A sensible person would have stored them together. Deciding whether to wear my @ldi gardening clogs (like cheap crocs) or my wellies.
Piggers - have passed your details onto my DD and you'll be contacted if they need you.
they are now looking for scottish power and n power customers. I believe (though this isnt definite) that there are £25 amaz0n vouchers on offer.
No morning shower then. No point.

Kaz, if the peregrines are boring, try the Dyfi ospreys - they're on tenterhooks, waiting for the old male to come back and dismiss a young upstart!
I have washed up baking tins from a marathon cake session last night, S&S'd kitchen, tidied one cupboard and 4 drawers. That might be all the Flying I do today, as i want to get out in the garden this afternoon. I need to get fruit, and I must write emails to the Tots families.
Big virtual (((hugs))) to asb, YL, round, Fayolle, dancemum, Natty, and anyone else feeling down xx
Have a good day and stay safe, everyone xxx
ETA - my friend P has just popped up on FB - she is out of bed!!!! With care from our wonderful NHS and Flylady vibes to help, how quickly things can change! Thank you all.9 -

We are about to walk to the post office/ pharmacy (it is the same shop) for our daily exercise. I have put makeup on in celebration. I need to find the can of root cover spray I purchased before look down to sort my hair out soon.
DS2 wants to paint some figures so I have set the table up ready.I feel like making Twinks but need some more stork first. Last lot lasted 3 days.7 -
I have cleaned my cooker, ok just the hobs but I can't remember when I last did it (hangs head in shame), the oven will have to wait as now need to cook lunch and then going shopping this afternoon. But as it seems like we are going to be confined for a while longer I am allowing myself time.
Just had virtual coffee and catch up with a good friend, nice to hear all the news but sad to hear that it's looking more and more unlikely we will run any kids groups again this year (we finish mid June).
Better go and check on the washing and get lunch in the oven.9 -
Yayy to the good news re ionafan's friend P
xx
All hugs gratefully received - thank youxx
YL - let me know if I grip your fingers too hard but I'm not letting go unless you ask me too.xx I'd really like to slap your DS's GF's mother round the head (not that I am violent at all as a rule), it might knock some sense in to her. Stupid woman kowtowing to her daughter is causing you problems. She needs to get a grip!
Round 1 completed. Weather forecast doesn't indicate rain - I think it must be a sea fret? We are 22 miles from the East coast, but that's close enough to sometimes be affected by sea breezes and sea frets. Hopefully the sun will burn through - there is a Stig single bed set swishing which will be pegged out when finished. A cracked W!cked visor has been binned and a hand full of long lost socks (pairs and singles) is now in the laundry hamper.
5 glass bottles rinsed and recycled - that's the backlog cleared.

Round 1 completed
plus I have put on the DW, load 2 in WM and load 1 hung out.
I am having a cuppa then I think I will walk to the allotment for my daily exercise. I need to take another raised bed or 2 down there as they are cluttering up the garden. Then I think it will be more gardening at home. I am determined that it will look better! (it couldn't have looked much worse) DD2 has said that she will walk the dog today.
Iona I'm really pleased to hear that your friend is on the mend

Iona thank you for the link, I had heard from 'somewhere on internet' about this interloper, but is seems less and less likely the old male is going to make it back.YL ~ the mother needs a good what ever I'm with Round in this ~~~ equally does DS not under stand how ill his brother could / would become if he catches anything, let alone CV. Pure madnessThere is also a sea fret here as well, the planes have been out over head as I can hear them, was going to go and watch them as part of my exercise for the day, but check web cam locally and saw the fret so stayed in.You can tell I am bored as I have been googling web cams for the coast.........Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

I’ve just stopped for a quick excuse for a sandwich. I’ve had my exercise to the allotment. I’ve planted some potatoes, but the weeds are growing faster than I can get to them. As I’m surrounded by perfect patches, it gets me a bit despondent. Still, at least most of the potatoes are off the downstairs toilet window ledge, and just one more row to get planted, hopefully tomorrow.
DH has been to the village shop to pick up the roasting chicken that he ordered for our weekend Easter treat. So that’s him exercised as well. I’ve started off some rye bread as it is DD’s favourite, and I had the flour. Oh and hospital in big city called to say that they are cancelling DD’s appointment for later in the month, but happy to do a phone consultation. Very sensible, as I was going to cancel rather then expose her to whatever lurks anyway.Much as I would like to get into the garden this afternoon, I think I will wash my hair, then clean the ensuite so that I feel that I have done some semblance of flying.
Round - I’m ready to take up the hand holding baton if needed.
Hugs, YL. I understand exactly. I’m even speechless.9
