Martin Lewis: Working from home due to coronavirus, even for a day? Claim TWO years' worth of tax re

Hi Guys,
New here and just having a bit of a messy mind right now, there was a restructure at work and after going through so many cycles of change previous to this year and leadership fails I decided to apply for Voluntary Redundancy.
With this decision comes a load of questions...
While at work I was going to apply for this beginning of 2021 but have seen recently the rules have changed as per the article on here by Martin Lewis and also on TV last night

As I am now without a job but have lieu payment of 3 months I am wondering where I stand with applying for tax relief on the above after working from home from March 16th 2020 until October 9th 2020. In addition to this would I be due some sort of tax rebate as I am unemployed for the forseeable future living off the payment I get while sorting CV, portfolio, and applying for jobs?
I have applied for JSA just to make sure my NI and Pension are still covered while looking for a job - I have informed them over the phone I will not be seeking JSA payments unless my redundancy begins to run ow and I struggled to find a job in the future. I am seeking clarity on a letter they sent but I am emailing privately about that.
Any tips/advice on the above I would really appreciate and apologies in advance if I have gone about this the wrong way on here e.g. if there is an intro thread and I need to post there first [that sort of stuff].
Thank you for taking the time to read.

I'm hoping this is a bit of an easy one... But does anyone know why mine and my wife's claim process are different? We follow the same link, input the same initial information, I registered with the UK Gov service today using DL and passport, she had previously registered using tax information. This can be the only thing I can think of (although when registering hers didn't give the option of using a DL) and her claim page is asking for information of employer etc, whereas mine didn't. We both work for (different) UK Government offices too.
All I did was the 'as sold by Martin' simple few step clicks to successfully register, but her path is asking for employee details etc which I didn't input... This isn't an issue if we found them, but I'm unsure as to why they are different journeys of the same process? Anyone else experienced this?0 -

I have an ID number for my Gateway account that I received back in 2010 but forgot my password so followed the online instructions, but when I entered the code emailed to me, it said it did not recognise my ID number. Clicked on help link and I sent a message asking for help, received a response with a suggestion of trying again and also using a different web browser. Tried both suggestions, Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer made no difference still cannot get to my account so I have sent another help message.

If you are not paying anything to parents then no, you can't claim it.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.0 -
Hi i gather that employers could also backdate their payments at £4pw if there was a home working arrangement with staff. but i'm assuming for the current year they can only pay based on the months people are at home and the "claim full year for a day " only applies to employees claiming from hmrc . is that right?0
