Good evening everyone

Greenbee I’ll be in very good company with you and monnagran!
I hope your fatigue lifts soon, and you have safe journeys.
Brambling I guess you’re going into creative mode with those courgettes then! (Cut into ribbons with a potato peeler they make a very good diet-friendly substitute for pasta.) I’m delighted you’ll be organising us for the next quarter, thank you very much. 🌺 Hoping your sister will continue to make progress.
Monnagran yes it was a bit excessive, wasn’t it? Jane Austen said something along the lines that we exist to amuse or be amused by our friends and neighbours, she was right. I’m glad you had a chuckle. Thanks for the offer of your hair-shirt, but I wouldn’t like to tear it trying to get it on. 😄 Or off.Gingerlily l’m glad you too had a chuckle! Sometimes one has to make things stand out a bit.
How lovely to be able to go out, even for long walks in crazy footwear, where overseas are you?
Hello Little Voice.
Weighing in day: I’ve gained 2lbs. 😱 ‘Nuff said.
Here I draw a discreet veil, Dear Reader, over my food for today. Suffice to say, It started well, with porridge....
Looking forward to seeing you next quarter (if not before!). Take care, stay safe, have a good week all.“Tomorrow is another day for decluttering.”Decluttering 2023 🏅🏅🏅🏅⭐️⭐️

Brambling nice low cal courgette soup on this page, I've tried and tested the recipe a few times and it freezes well too... the only comment I would make is that the potatoes either need to be very finely diced or need a few extra mins. Might be good for your glut when it comes.

Morning all xx
I'm starting my next challenge today - I aim to lose 7lbs and get into my next number :-) I'm not putting a timeframe on it - but the sooner the better
Ideally I'd like to lose a stone by 1st September (so I am putting a timeframe on it - Mum always said I would never hang myself lol) - then I'd be 16 st 6 lbs on my 60th birthday - oo (lightbulb flash) 16st 4 lbs would mean I'd lost 4 stones
Right, first things first, I plan to lose 2 lbs and then I'll be 3 stones lighter than I was at my heaviest. Sorry I'm thinking aloud here.
As it's going to be cooler this week I'll aim for three walks too. I can't walk when it's hot. All I can do when it's hot is splodge,
Hugs to all you wonderful ladies
Rxx

Roundtuit, twitchin' and jerkin' will resume as from today. I'm about to blow the dust off Chuck.
Bloggy, I am disappointed that you've spurned my hair shirt. I also have a length of sackcloth and a sack of ashes if that's more to your taste. Just say the word and Hermes will be drafted in immediately.
Mind has now gone blank.
Oh yes, welcome Little Voice and nananibbles. If nothing else, you will learn a whole lot of new and incredible excuses for not sticking to your diet.
Bramble if you are taking orders for the next challenge please put me down for 7lbs.I believe that friends are quiet angels

Good Morning
Well done on the losses and sts
Welcome Littlevoice and nananibbles x
3lb off for me this week please. How many weeks is the next challenge for please? Thank you Brambling 💜
We have two rooms that have become dumping grounds since my Daughter's moved out, we cleared one out last week taking it all to someone opening a charity shop, so pleased and decided on a plan to turn it into a playroom as our first grandchild is due soon. It didn't last long for DD to bring stuff around to store and then while I was in work hubby decided a nursery was more important so emptied the other room and dumped the stuff all around the house and was very pleased with himself
This week's goal is to have a good sort out and get everything back to normal x

Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin9 -
Morning all I hope you all had a good weekend
and welcome Littlevoice and Nananibbles
TTB & Blue thanks for the courgette recipes they will be required i fear after picking 3 yesterday, I made a tomato, onion courgette thing with a couple for dinner tonight I've some LO pasta it can go with and I'm thinking about do a dash and run to a elderly friend and put one through her cat flap. Weather permitting I'll pick my first French beans in a couple of days, the runners are still only in flower stage.
I woke up this morning with a flare up of my joint pains, not from doing too much at the weekend maybe too much wheat or the the sudden temperature drop and rain on Saturday, it will pass I'll need to try and walk some of it off in my knees and ankles later before the threaten rain kicks in tomorrow. The gift from my mum which keeps on giving to all of her children

Hello x
Thank you for your kind comments xx
Well i have succumbed to half a home made chocolate eclair - it was delicious.
I will WI tomorrow to finish off the challenge and then set my next goal of 10 lbs Brambling - of course I don't want to presume that you are organising the next quarter but it is much appreciated. I do hope your sister improves asap xx
Oh Brambling thanks for the dates - just the mention of September sets me a tingle - I love the month as its the start of my countdown to Christmas (which Im mad for), Halloween (any chance to dress up) and Bonfire night - although we will have new pup so will have to give that a miss and make sure she feels secure.
Feel so tired today - Im up at night with racing thoughts - in the middle of the night I could take on the world, if only it would last during the day x
Much love xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.8 -
Morning All,
I hope everyone had a lovely weekend.
Cranky Well done on the loss, sugar free definitely seems to suit you. I hope you got the HT's maths sorted.
Gingerlily Well done on the loss and walking that far in flip flops!! Eating out for dinner sounds lovely, even though it's not something we do that often I never realised how much I took it for granted until it wasn't an option
monnagran Commiserations for the gain and best of luck now that your fence has been finished and you're not baking goodies for the painter
Blue Doggy Commiserations for the gain. I did laugh at your ticks and crosses, although I'd be glad if I stuck to two glasses when I blow out with wine
Molly I hope you've recovered from being jabbed, you definitely deserved the ice cream after that
Brambling I hope you manage to get your walk in and that it eases the joint pain
ditty I hope that things are seeming better today.
dumpling It's amazing what a good night's sleep can do. Best of luck with your new start and the exercises from your physio
roundtuit Congratulations, that's an amazing loss
TTB Well done on the loss and I'm so sorry for everything you're going through at the moment. I hope that all goes well tomorrow
greenbee I hope you're feeling better, having guests is tiring even when they're not acting like the food/alcohol police
Welcome to LittleVoice and nananibbles
zippy Well done on the loss and good luck with the sort out.
I braved the scales and it wasn't good but probably about what I expected and at least I've got a starting point for the next challenge. Keeping myself busy definitely helps with not overeating, on Saturday I did a little bit of work and then spent hours completely blitzing the spare room so didn't eat anything until dinner time. I may then have indulged in rather too much booze so yesterday was spent lying on the sofa, feeling sorry for myself and eating too much. I also seem to have got into the habit of not leaving the house unless it's completely necessary because there are just too many people about. I live in the centre of town and our high street is pretty much back to pre-lockdown levels of busy but I really need to try to force myself to go for a walk each day.
Best of luck and stay safe everyone xx10
