Bonjour
Hopefully today is going to be as productive as yesterday. OH has moved 'office' into the dining room which I cleaned yesterday. So the living room is mine to play in. Not really sure where to start so think it is going to be dot to dot and then see where I join the dots.
So far today
Bed made, clothes picked up
Bathroom wiped over (going to try and make this a daily habit)
WM on
Off to make OH a coffee and then I'll clean the stairs, they are already tidy.
Common folks we can do this together.13 -
Morning all,Slept a bit better last night, must be something to do with all the walking we did yesterday! Flying wise, I have unloaded the DW and have just heard the bin men outside. All of our big bills go out tomorrow so it's nice to feel that the mortgage is paid for another month! Meals today are freezer dip (yet again), and no doubt a big dog walk is on the cards. Other than that, our day will be quiet.
Take care everyone xx13 -
Morning all. Thank you for get well wishes everyone. Had good news from Ireland, Dear Cousin Skint is OFF the ventilator yesterday and down to a mask and they are gradually reducing sedation , today is day 13 in intensive care so it's been a long slog and still a way to go but we feel a sense of hope that a corner has been turned. Xxx
For me, I am still waving sick note....I had a productive day on light duties when I was out of bed.
Got my French door attended to on the back of the garage/utility room, because I couldn't lock them and was petrified someone would come and nick my food if they realised it was unlocked (I moved to a much smaller house mortgage free 2 and half years ago, but it's a very rough area and I am a little too delicate and well spoken for the neighbours liking).
So quick dance with my Sh@rk across the downstairs, a quick whizz through the kitchen and sat down for repair man's arrival.
GI,i did get some help yesterday evening from big DD1 who is suffering massively with the BD atm. Got the cats trays emptied together. Kids point blank refused cereal and toast for tea, so DD1 made a pasta bake from scratch but the evidence is waiting for me this morning...but I will attend to it later.
Breakfast has been decluttered for me, young Skints are still asleep. I've retreated back to bed with honey & vinegar where Dear Fuzzy Faces 1,2 and 4 are waiting for me. So I am exhausted enough for a nap with cats until the young Skints wake up and them I will gentle shuffle them off and get back in WM.....and attempt some more off listy....until later XXXThe cold never bothered me anyway12 -
Skint I love the idea of you hunkering down with the fuzzy faces.Up and sorted, OH who works from home, is struggling in the rental as we lack space, and I am inside, so we have for now moved the table he is working at to the thin corridor as it seems the sun as catching the laptop screen yesterday, but now he is right in front of the bathroom door, as I have pointed out, at least we are in and not living in our cars, just get on with it and make do...............I've sorted out yesterdays washing as it is now dryBreast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Just stopped for a quick cuppa, I have thoroughly cleaned the stairs. Still not decided where to start in the living room. There is the downstairs loo which could do with a good scrub so that might get done next as it is off our living space.13

Good morning 😁
I was awake earlyish. The first job was unblock the toilet 🤢🤬 Nice!
I then made a cuppa & breakfast and headed back to bed! I'm still there 😊
I need to get up & dressed and face the day! I think I will spend some time in the bedroom as it is a pit! It is the general dumping ground. Its bin day tomorrow, so some stuff could leave the house forever! 👍 I also need to clean up the kitchen - again!
Skint - keep resting up when you can
Round - I hope your first day back at work is ok, and the DS gets out for a walk x
Round 1

Morning all
Like many of us, another crazy night of sleeplessness and the weirdest dreams.
Good luck today back at work, Round x. I hope your DS gets outside, as it is good for the mind. I’m worrying about DD, although she is holding up well so far. We did long stints indoors together when she was ill, so it is bringing the whole experience back. Plus school have announced that they will have to sit online exams, earlier than the “real” ones would have been, so now she has that to stress about as well.I’ve been on the phone to work this morning, as yesterday’s way of working wasn't sustainable for anyone. There is now a plan, which is good (and it means working from home, not going in), and I’m also off as usual today. So with that, I really have to get a grip and tick some jobs off. Valli put me to shame yesterday - extreme flying from Management 🤣.
So, one load just finished in the wm, clean washing folded, and bathroom cleaning stuff out to tackle the ensuite. I’m going to hang the washing out then get started.
Back later. X13 -
Morning all. So far, some dailies done, I'm dressed and more paperwork sorted. Will plod along.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.14 -
Morning all
Dining room today. I'm also hoping to plant some tiny sprouting onions in the hope that they will grow bigger. I washed towels, as I changed the kitchen hand towel and I wanted to wash the steam mop pad. It looks like it's going to brighten up so I will peg them out later.
And a plan for the guest room is slowly forming...Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
Thank you Honey Bear13 -
Downstairs loo and cloakroom cleaned, and floor even scrubbed!
Lunch made, ready to reheat
Washing moved to TD
Friend just sent me a lovely photo of Easter lunch here 2013, friends and family, 16 of us including Dad who is no longer with us. Such a lovely thought really made me smile.
I have started bits in the living room. At least I've started now.
