Hope everyone's keeping well. Quick question....how do you know if you've 'thanked' a post so you know where you're up to on the thread. I'm sure it used to be more obvious?
Oooops! I decided the bathroom needed a massive clean and did that before checking the list here. Might give the bedroom a go later as it needs it.14 -
Cleaned the downstairs loo floor, read some of my book, had lunch and walked the dogs. Thank goodness I've got paid stuff tomorrow.Spend less now, work less later.15

Valli - how much velcro do you need?
Done some work work, washed up and made a few calls, done a few Scouting bits - that's about it really. M& D have dropped some Easter eggs off on the doorstep so I had a chat with them when they got back in the car.NST #10 Steps 7K 2/30 10K 2/12 5 a day 3/30 NSD 0/20

Hello, I hope everyone is ok and staying safe. I thought I should come back if you'll have me - I seem to have lost the last couple of months
Lovely to see some other 'old' faces returning xx
I am at home now until this ends, although I do still do shopping for Mum and for Dad and take it round to them once a week.
The house is a tip and I haven't had any motivation to do anything but, hopefully, boredom will set in soon and flying will seem appealing (well, I can dream, can't I?!!)
Will sort a list in a bit and aim to do some HHCs tomorrow.
I've probably missed loads in the last 2 months so feel free to take congrats or a virtual hug as required.

I have cleared shed. Big Really Useful (84l) box brought in, some stuff binned, some stuff bagged for CS, various wires bagged for recycling, some stuff put aside to add to science resources at school.. Box washed ready for repurposing. I now have space for the tabletop freezer I am being gifted, though no table. Taken marmalade to the aged p's. Brought bag of jam jars (given to me on 7th March) in from car; they're being soaked to remove labels but they will need to be rewashed before use as they will be stored in the shed, probably.
Can anyone use a digital thermometer? The sort you probe into food? It's BNIB but it has been in the box a long time - pre-2016 I should think. I'm not sure if it will work as it needs a new battery.

Losing track of the days here and I didn't post yesterday, can't recall what I did other than go for a run, write some report, clear out bits of greenhouse, do a load of washing and keep up with checking on friends via various media.
Today we had the nail-biting excitement of going into Harlow to Mr T. We hadn't realised they are only wanting one shopper per household, but as we had a list from elderly friend we just grabbed another trolley and surreptitiously liaised with our lists on the aisles. Got most of what we wanted other than no gf pasta of any description, which I was a bit peeved about. Assistant thinks non-gf people have been grabbing it as there is no wheat pasta. Oh well, I have about enough for 3 meals plus I bought more rice and some noodles. Disappointed but not surprised that the C0sta express machine is not operational at the petrol station! Went home via another small town which has a Co-0p as they are usually good for FreeFrom, but people were queuing and the car spaces were full so we went home. Dropped groceries off to friend, we're not on dog walking duty today.
The seeds I'd ordered arrived which was exciting, I also managed to find a few in Mr T to post to my mum as it seems a lot of the online seed companies are running out or delayed. Got compost in Mr T as well.
Am now on my penultimate report to write, have emailed manager as I knew it would be a tricky one and the last report is even worse.
Just went for a walk with Mr N via the letter box with mum's seeds. Lots of birds tweeting in the countryside and a lovely evening.
Good to see people returning, waves and hugs to all.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.13 -
Hi all
Up in good time, DW emptied, online exercise class done, 7 hours paid stuff, our bed and DS1s bed stripped and washed, roast dinner cooked (with help from DH), upstairs hoovered, beds remade and clean washing put away. A couple of my work colleagues are being unusually difficult/techy at the moment, I took one of their comments to heart this morning which I should have just let roll over me. Other than that its been a good day, and DS2 is now on day 9 since coming home from Uni with no symptoms! Oh and DS1 managed to get another April online delivery slot by going on the website at 2am!12 -

Thank you Goodi, Fayolle and ionafan for your good wishes xx
The best part of my day was the commute - very little trafficIt was good to see most of my colleagues. One made a big thing out of me being ill while I was off and did not want to sit in the same room as me. Long story short: I've been moved out of the office and into another room where I will basically be alone. I was very upset at the time, but am thinking that I am safer alone or +1 in my little room that the other 6 who are in a room together - a room that people are in and out of all the time (including clinicians and nurses who have been out and about visiting the sick). I will sit and wait for karma to pour hot coals on the head of said colleague.
DS continues to be a worry, but he did get himself out for a 40 minute walk today and had a nap this afternoon to make up for not sleeping well last night. And he ate the bangers and mash I made for his tea. We had another long chat when I got in from work - I'm glad he feels able to talk to me.
Flying after work was just cooking tea. It won't be long before I'm decluttering some zzzzzs.
Take care
Rxx
