Good afternoon
Round 2 completed - except emptying the food bin. I have blocked the way with stuff! I have had lunch, so I think I will shuffle the stuff about and put the table and chairs back where they belong. I still have about 2/3 of the patio to do, but it needs to be done in stages and left to dry for a while.
Round 3
Move table and chairs
Empty food bin
Sweep next bit of patio & spray
Cup of tea!
Back soon!11 -
Motivation is lacking here. More than half done and looking great but the last bits are taking me forever. It's more emotional stuff which distracts me so being kind to myself and happy just to dot to dot and hope they will all join up soon. Other problem is I can't put the vacuum on as OH on a conference call and it's too hot in the dining room now to shut the doors.
I've gathered up all the photos that were on the bookshelf under the stairs and need to find a better solution to display them as the cats keep knocking them over and lying on them. Several now have broken glass as they've hit the floor and we have tiled floors. I'm thinking of sticking them to the wall just above the shelf but that will have to wait until we're allowed out again as diy shops shut here.
OK, back to clean the shelves then it might be time for a cup of tea and a biscuit.

Is it really Wednesday?
Up at stupid o'clock, coffee, porridge and a few emails (more teenagers claiming they can't log on because nobody's given them the class codes to join them, thus making out I've not been doing my job - some very carefully phrased emails back to parents, drawing their attention to the five emails they've already had giving them the exact codes, repeating myself yet again and not asking them why they are believing children who can't be bothered to do the work at the best of times, never mind when they've got more important things like TikTok to be gawping at).
I then fell asleep on the settee for three hours. Purely unintentionally, but as I'd started work early, I think it's not the end of the world.
More 'I don't want to do any work, so I'm telling Mummy that the bad lady hasn't done her job' emails in the afternoon and I was rather happy to close the window on the dot of my finish time.
Some knob is currently running his borked car outside the window and has been for 35 minutes (I think there's some issue with the throttle going by how it's ticking over as though his foot is on the accelerator), so had to close them before I died of CO poisoning. I notice he's not parked outside his own place to do it.
I've cleaned a cat noseprint off the window, wiped over the TV unit and - oh, the car has sputtered to a halt. It's run out of petrol. Oh, what a shame - the only garage for 3 miles is shut - and I'm planning on wallowing in the bath for ages.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll11 -
A (very) short update from me...
wm x 1, HHI, dinner cooked, WULTD.Yep that is it.Worked from home all day, more successfully as the day went on, as by 10am the laptop was about to go out of the window. DH working in the DR, permanently on conference calls until mid afternoon.I’ve had a wobble day today. Hoping for a better day tomorrow.11 -
There you go, you see, a whole family of weebles living in flylady-land. We are allowed to wobble ladies - it's quite normal for weebles. But we always end up upright as that's our speciality. BIG HUGS to you all xx
A good day in the new office with one colleague who works part time. Nicely spaced apart. We marked out a box with tape on the floor at the door for people to stand in as they kept walking in to the room. They soon jumped back in to the safe zone when I pointed and said 'Box'.A supplier brought food in - feeding the nhs. I wasn't tempted as there was pork or chicken - not sure what they were: deep fried pasty? - and I don't eat meat, but it was a lovely thought.
Cooked tea - oven baked fish and chips / potato waffles for DS and myself. Watched Hawaii- 5-0, And now catching up with fred and fb with the 70s music channel playing in the background. Back to the usual minimal flying on a work day - looking forward to getting Weekend Willi out of the cupboard and in to my usual routine.
Take care. Be gentle with yourself.

DS2 snapped the laptop screen whilst we were composing an email to confirm his college place. I’m doubting how he going to able to go without the planned transition work.Took him for a shortish walk as he hadn’t been outside since Thursday.

I have planted Borlotti, dwarf French, climbing French, runner and broad beans, as well as sugar snap peas, in toilet roll inners (I save them all year round); I also clambered past the beautiful red camellia to get to the outhouse and find enough big flowerpots to plant all the strawberries in, so that I can grow salad crops in the raised veg trug
And I have taken part the z00m meeting - good to see friends.
Hope everyone gets a good night's sleep xx

Good evening 😁
Half of the patio is clean - I will do the rest another day. Tomorrow I need to pop to the shop for bread & milk, and I may spend some time at the allotment as I haven't been for a few days.
I did manage to wash up and s&s the kitchen, and clean the downstairs loo.
I think we have all had a wobble at one time or another. Hugs to those that need them. I'm pleased you had a good day at work Round 😊
See you all tomorrow x12 -
I don’t know where today has gone!I made two loaves of plum bread this morning. For tea I made ‘Chicken Fajita Pie’ from the ‘PON’ book, I will definitely make it again! 💜. Because of the lockdown we are unable to go to our ‘Fat’ club so we had a video chat, it was nice to catch up with everyone & try & give support as one or two are struggling with not being able to go out! Kitchen looks reasonable as I ensured that I was washing up as I was going along!😇
I now need to make a shopping list for tomorrow for the OH, he has taken over the shopping duties since we have been on lockdown, I don’t think I have been out for 21 days! 😱
I think tomorrow will be a washing & ironing day!
Take care everyone 🌈'Money and good health is coming easily to Flypeople'12 -
My slimming club also has an online facility. However as the tech isn't mine I cannot download zoom without approval so that's that.
I have cleaned the spare/guest/DDs room and remade the bed and stacked stuff in the really useful box.
I also cleaned my room and retrieved my specs which had fallen down the back of the bed. Vacuum emptied, need to put the bin out.
