Morning thanks for Fred, this week and last week's. I am reporting in waving a sick note for light duties as I still feel like death. 5 hours to prep and cook a rationed version of roast dinner, followed by a 3 hour emergency nap....toast for Young Skints and then it was back to bed for me. The WUDUPA is waiting for me..... I've been out of bed and bathed, in clean PJ and back in bed..... with honey and vinegar (saving lemon juice for cooking) ....I will try to get up and dry my hair in bit and pretend to feel ok...then tackle the WUDUPA, check rations for food theft, and see if I have enough to make tonight's dinner......get it prepped this morning to avoid a delay in eating tonight...
I will check back in a bit.....thank you ladies for keeping the sanity in this very strange time XXXThe cold never bothered me anyway16 -
Bonjour everyone
I'm in again this week, OH working from home and I'm not working at all, this is week 3 for us here so starting to settle into a routine. Weekend was mainly spent gardening or watching old episodes of Garden Rescue for inspiration and motivation. Up early as normal as OH starts work at 8, but I have flown.
Bedroom done, it took me 45 mins so not bad I didn't mop the floors as they are wood and the varnish is wearing off them so I reckon a good. I had read how hotel staff clean a room so decided to follow their plan with the radio on and was really pleased with the result and because the room was tidy it wasn't hard. Motivated now to get more of the house up to scratch.
Sticks, spoons, and hugs for those who need.
See you all later.

Morning all
This week the cleaning shall commence.
Welcome back Mudders. Long time no see. See more talk of a six month lockdown. DS's friend has postponed her July wedding now rather than wait and see.

Morning All
Thought I'd jump back on the wagon as I'm working from home all this week and only in work one day next week. My kitchen isn't looking too bad today although it took me a few hours yesterday to clear the sides and clean them all and the sink. Won't stay that way for long though! Lots to do but really plenty of time to do it in if I can just get myself motivated. I was only in work one day last week although I was doing work at home but didn't get a lot done around the house.
Have a good day all
Stay safe
Hugs

Time for a break again. Yes I drink a lot of coffee (but it is decaf).
Dining room has been done. Dusted, vacuumed and mopped. Also did 1 of 4 very big windows (inside and out). The others are in the sun so will try and do another at a different time this week. Doors open whilst floor dries. It took 45 mins maybe even less.
WM on
Recycling taken out.
Lunch planned and taken out of freezer.
Landing vacuumed
See you later

Morning xx
I've made my bed, had a cup of tea, eaten toast, caught up with fb and fred, answered a text and phoned my supervisor. - back to work tomorrow as planned. Sounds like they are playing it by ear as K said she'll let me know if things change.
piggers - S&V crisps and chocolate orange added to stash of virtual Snickers - thank you. I have a key for the wardrobe - it's called an 'axe'Not that I'm desperate to access Narnia or anything you understand - sheepish grin. I'm lying - I don't have an axe at all - would a pizza slicer help? And skint says thank you for keeping the 'sanity' -
Get well soon skint - rest as much as you can and keep drinking plenty of fluids. Look after yourself xx
Round 1 =
get washed and dressed
feed the birds
Sort Sweetie's seed and water
put out the recycling
sort the washing - clean washing away / is there enough to make a load?
WUDUPA pots
WUDUPA pans and baking trays
get petrol
coffee
Take care lovely ladies. Altogether now 'ommmmmmmmmmm'
Rxx

Morning all, and welcome back juliejim and Mudders [waves]
Hope you feel better soon, Skinty - take it easy, baby steps xx
Round, you are as bonkers as the rest of usxx
I have done most of Level 1 and a bit of level 2, and FUPA aired washing. That's my lot for today, apart from cooking, desk work, Rosie's walk and maybe some seed planting. Now drinking coffee (also decaff).
Oh, and I also dived into the eaves loft because I'd remembered that I'd got a small wooden picture easel in one of the craft boxes - it makes an excellent stand for my K!nd1e when I'm using z00m, at £0 cost
Hope everyone has a good day. Get some rest if you can, too. xx13 -
ANNOUNCEMENT - Deep clean of kitchen underway.
Last night I put the bottom oven racking in the DW. This morning I have removed light covers from both ovens; they've been washed. Fridge emptied, wiped out, shelving etc washed. That's being put back together bit by bit. And, before I started fridge I sprayed oven cleaner in bottom oven (and emptied that can so it's gone into recycling *fling*. I have more, though, as I inherited a load from DD when she left her last student flat. Coffee machine bits soaking in sink too. Washing on line,
Just having a coffee and listening to Popmaster.

Morning all. Nice to see some old names again.
I'm still not dressed but I've washed the dishes and got my paperwork as up to date as it can be. Need to make decisions on my car which failed its mot last week, and on our holiday which is booked for August.
Will commence flying shortly but will stop at 4pm to raise a glass to a dear friend whose funeral is today.Spend less now, work less later.15 -
Good morning ladies! I'm in this week because I need some sense of order and after one week of isolation, my house is a pit. Virtual hugs and chocolate bars to everyone (but not chocolate orange...they're the food of demons and savages).
Operation Kitchen Blitz is well under way and it's already looking much better... I have, however, run out of gin, so tonight the really expensive bottle of Champers that I was saving g for a special occasion just might have to do...needs must and all that...14
