  • Try getting touch, no chance. I’ve been try for month and all I get is a pre-recorded message when I finally get through. I’ve only paid £100 deposit fortunately, they’ll not get a penny.

    £100 part deposit, you mean.
  • I was due to fly on 29th May.  I have now received my refund credit code but I want my money back.  Their FAQ's say you have to call them.  After more than 60 phone calls and no response, do I keep trying or write to them instead?
I also have a holiday booked in September, that's not going to happen is it?

You need to try more than 60 times tbh. Took me 130 attempts on 2 mobiles, only took 20 mins but got into the queue.

Memorise the options and press them as soon as you can to save time.

So written communication is no good then?  That's pants.  They have our money and want us to spend more to contact them?  Robbing ...

A 0203 number cost me nothing to ring, tbh.

Ok.  Say I am unable to get through and therefor not get a refund, I lose £1700+.  Would writing to them help / work?

Nobody will be losing anything. From memory, they have an expiry date and after that they refund you in cash automatically.

By all means write in but by your own admission you have "only" tried 60 times. You need to keep trying. Follow the tips I have already posted. I tried 2pm on a Tuesday if that helps. Maybe avoid Mondays as everyone will try then.

Currently trying now.  Getting through the menu but then not ringing and the message to say they are getting more calls than normal and then cuts off
