Did eventually get through, just short of 2 hours wait. Refund sorted thankfully.0 -
Hi WanttobethrifftyI suggest you wait until the money appears before celebrating. I had email on 14 March saying credit card would be credited that day, nothing received. I tried the phone many times: on 5 May TUI agent apologised said my refund would be sent to Accounts immediately for payment in not more than 5 to 7 days, but surprise, surprise I am still waiting. If, and it's a big if the 14 day promise is met then you are indeed one of the lucky ones, otherwise please join us back in the waiting zone. Good luck0

Interestingly i assumed because my holiday is supplied by Funway but booked by TUI, i was bound by Funway T&C. But reading the FAQs on the TUI website it says your first port of call is the agent you booked with and you are bound by their T&C. So in theory TUI should refund me in full

My Brother booked with Jet2 to fly mid-June. He has already been contacted confirming a full refund Is on its way. My daughter already has her money in the bank after BA refunded in full her cancelled flights to USA in mid-May.
I am still trying to request a refund for TUI flights due to depart mid-April! If I EVER get through to Tui and receive a refund of monies paid for a service not delivered, I shall most definitely NOT book with them again - EVER!0 -

You have 120 days from the date you knew your trip was cancelled. Read the info on MSE that explains chargebacks.
Alternatively, you can wait for TUI to get round to refunding you.Seen it all, done it all, can't remember most of it.1 -
On Friday I called 02034512688, selected options 2, 4 then 1 which was payments. This line is answered fairly quickly each time. I called it about five times and was fobbed off each one, given different numbers to call which had been closed and at one point they said that they were struggling with refunds to TUI credit cards, a note must have been added to my account as when they read the it a couple the following calls came up with the same excuse.
i eventually spoke with a Welsh lady who looked at my booking, apologised and refunded it there and then. It hit my account today so a massive thank you to her! It is clear that the other people were lying for some reason.
Just to add a bit of context, I had an email telling me that my refund was being processed within 28 days on 21st March, if I hadn’t chased it up and been persistent with repeated calls to that line I would not have it yet.Good luck to those who are still waiting!0 -
Did anyone get a refund credit for a Curtailed holiday (as opposed to Cancelled)? I filled in the forms/raised a ticket on 22nd March, shortly after returning on a TUI repatriation flight, and was emailed on 17th April to say a Refund Credit code would be emailed to me by 1st May. Was then emailed 1st May to say it would now be 15th May before I got the code. I've heard nothing since.0
