    Are there FAQ's on the TUI or Marella Cruise website that answer those points?

    I received an email from TUI yesterday say that my refund had been processed - so it looks as if the wheels are finally in motion and hopefully it will appear on my card shortly. I will post again if it appears.

    Just to add my thanks to those - particularly Westin and Bradders - whose calm and measured comments have helped keep me sane through this. Cheers guys.

    Absolutely no point being angry about it all.

    I am waiting for them to cancel my cruise on the 13th August now. Probably wont be long.
  • We have a holiday booked with TUI to Italy for the late August. Weve paid the deposit but the rest is due on the 31st of May. Do we still pay in full or cancel altogether?

    If you cancel you lose the deposit with no comebacks, if you pay the balance and they cancel because there is still no travel you can get a refund but the timescales are very big. 
  • Hi I am due to fly to the Dominican Republic today with Tui when can I expect my full refund.

    We booked in store and also booked an Auschwitz tour through them also, hotel and transfers.  Each time I have called since beginning of April, (Have tried approximately 5 different numbers), I get the automated telephone message informing me that they are extremely busy (which I don't doubt).  My question related to 'I am due to fly on Monday 27th April 2020 and we have had no contact with TUI, therefore how do we obtain a refund'.  I am a little concerned with regards to their 7 day promise, now that that has lapsed.

    Thank you again for your advice.

    You will just have to be patient and wait along with everyone else. Read the message on their website.

    It'll be vouchers in the near future, with perhaps a full refund at a later point.  No idea on exact timescales because they're working through thousands of cases.
