He goes onto say "However, you must still keep your car in a roadworthy condition and garages will remain open if you need repairs."
May as well just get the MOT done.0 -
Yep, I saw this in the Birmingham Mail, which more leads me to suspect lockdown will run on for at LEAST 6 months!0

Official announcement now out... and it's all vehicles, no mention of expiry date.

But "must be roadworthy" applies to everything, all the time, anyway. Whether there's a valid test or whether it doesn't need one because it's too new or too old. All that's being varied here is the requirement for a current test.

My mot expiry date states 29.03.2020 does this mean it falls in the postponed category or not - i.e. is does it mean its valid until end of 29th and so due 30th - my MOT centre has closed so cannot take it in tomorrow as planned

Will they fix the online tax to allow you to tax it without an MOT?
If anyone cannot get the DVLA vehicle check page delete the ( https and/or www ).
My usual saved link no longer works but works after removing that.

It should be roadworthy anyway, this is to just deal with people who can't find somewhere that is open and can do the test.
