4K or Full HD TV for SD and HD content

There are charts all over the internet. To be honest, for the average British household who stick a small to medium size TV in the corner of the lounge, or, heaven forbid, above the fireplace, they are pointless. The seating that the lady of the house dictates will usually dictate TV position.

Apart from that, the norm is, for most decent TVs, to be 4K as standard so choosing between HD and 4K is, at last, becoming redundant.
If you have a dedicated TV/Cinema room then you have the luxury of being guided by the charts. My TV room seating is set so my eye position is 6'3" from my 65" TV, which is comfortable.
My lounge 55" TV is further away, I'd say about 8 feet, but, I can still tell the difference between HD and 4K on it.
