Techradar website talks about the bigger the screen then generally the worse the picture watching SD and HD content hence why i keep thinking i should just stick to a 32 inch? Trying to find the best picture 32inch full HD seems hard though as i realise they will all have issues at that price0

Just seen a 2020 Samsung UE32T5300 tv on richer sounds website, any thoughts on this one? Guess its an upgrade to the N5300 model?0

If you are going to buy a budget TV you aren't going to get a premium picture whatever the input.
Just buy the Samsung you've seen, it's as good as, if not better than most out there.
Personally, I wouldn't go below a 55", but, then again, I don't have ITV3 on loop as my daily watch....

55" is the sweet spot on price/performance and where the best value deals are, there are some OK at the 49/50 size
Below that could be better off picking up a second hand from someone up sizing.1 -
I live in a 1 bed flat and 55 inch would be way too big, the max size screen would be 43 inch but as the LG 43 7500 i bought i had issues with i think maybe i should get a 32 inch and hopefully the issues i noticed in the 43 inch would be less noticable0

Are you sure 55" would be too big because for a 4K 55" TV the recommended viewing distance is only 4.6 - 6.9 feet so relatively close. 32" is very small these days and i know people who use 32" screens for PC monitors although i think they are a bit too big for a PC they are way too small to have an enjoyable TV experience at any normal viewing distance.Malarky21 said:I live in a 1 bed flat and 55 inch would be way too big, the max size screen would be 43 inch but as the LG 43 7500 i bought i had issues with i think maybe i should get a 32 inch and hopefully the issues i noticed in the 43 inch would be less noticable

Considering that you said your going to use this TV daily and that you appreciate a good picture quality then i think your better off saving up and buying something decent rather than getting something mediocre that you will have to put up with for potentially hours a day. When you consider how long TV's last the actual daily cost of even a £1200 TV doesn't work out to be very much.

I still have a Toshiba Regza 32" (Full HD) as my main TV in the living room.

Obviously shops are closed at the moment so i can't return the LG 7500 tv and therefore i can't get a new one until i get a refund for the one i bought0

So were i to save for a bit what would you recommend as an excellent 55 inch tv which would be great for dealing with motion blur/judder on SD and HD channels?0
