I'm watching it through the antenna/aerial outside and the build in interface of the tv0

A good option would be second hand Plasma if you can find a good one.
Last of the Pioneer or Panasonic were good.
You won't get a LCD to match picture quality but they will be brighter.

I'll have a look at second hand plasma's but at the moment i think i may go for the best full HD 32 inch i can find, any suggestions?0

I'd put a current Oled or Qled up against a plasma for picture quality. The upcoming MicroLeds will also put paid to the myth that Plasma was (is) best.
That said, if you are just putting Plasma up against HD LCD or LED, then Plasma would win out for black levels.Drinking Rum before 10am makes you

At that price point your really looking at the bottom end budget 4K TV's so you can't really expect much from them. Why are you looking to spend so little on a TV? if it's not one your going to use often then you might just have to put up with it but if it's going to be something you use a lot then it's worth spending more and getting a decent one.Malarky21 said:I actually bought a LG 43UM7500pla yesterday, well rated apparantly but i'm dissapointed with it, seem to have judder and blur no matter what setting i try, very noticable when credits scroll at end of programmes1 -
When I was looking for a non-4k TV a couple of years back one of the clued up members on AV Forums suggested any of the Sony 40" models starting in RE or WE (I bought the Samsung also recommended, which has been great but is now discontinued - so can't comment on the Sony's) but his link to the Sony TV on Amazon is still working, the 40" is only available as used, but the 32" is available direct from Amazon for £249.

I use the tv daily but everyone has a budget, i'd like to spend more but just haven't got the money to be spending 800+ on a tv as much as i'd like to so i'm trying to find the best one to suit my budget/needs etc though obviously i realise that the more i spend the better the tv would tend to be0

Just looked at the sony although it's hd ready and not ful hd which is ideally what i want?0

Ah sorry didn't notice the 32" was only HD ready, the 40" version is HD.
Curry's have the 40" version for £349?
