Evening all,
Lots done, very tired. DS had meltdowns today as well Piggers, I think reality has set in for this home school malarkey!Bedding to wash tomorrow, plus loads more small bits to do. Love to all xx14 -
Morning all
We are quite settled into our lockdown routine, OH working from home and on the phone most of the time so I need to keep fairly quiet. But I take myself off up stairs where stuff is being sorted. Very much dot to dot, that way I don't beat myself up because I have finished something. Hoping one day the dots will come together. Paying particular attention to what we eat, ie trying to include veg and smaller portion sizes, also nothing to go to waste. Only real issue is getting enough exercise, our confinement conditions here are a bit stricter than yours. As the weather is lovely I try and get out into the garden in the afternoons but so far not much has been done, again dot to dot, but yesterday the fork broke so need to go hunting in the garage for something else to use. I feel for those of you trying to juggle working from home and kids.
Right better get a move on, so far
Bed made, clothes picked up
Pellet stove, cleaned, reloaded and on
Hugs, sticks and spoons available, help yourselvels.
See you later

Morning all,
Wm running again (how?? We are only 3 and not going anywhere!), dinner found from the freezer. The troops are getting some meat tonight which will please DH at least.
DH spends most of the day on the phone for work and DD is in her room mostly working (so she tells me, and she probably is, to be fair). I have to go in to work today (school, so not closed, but I don’t count my 1/2 day role as exactly being a key worker. The head has different ideas) and I’m not entirely comfortable with it. I believe that the main job has shut the site, but nobody has actually contacted me to tell me, apart from the grapevine. I was due to go in next week, but assume that I’m not, which is fine by me.
Yesterday was quite productive, although it didn’t feel it at the time. I even finished knitting the back of the jumper that I started oh so long ago. I now need to find where I put the rest of the wool so that I can start the front...could be anyone’s guess where it is. The search might set off a bit of impromptu flingage later 😉.
Have a peaceful safe day everyone. X12 -
Morning everyone, I'm up and just about to get showered and dressed. Although I may just indulge in another cup of tea while watching Murdoch Mysteries on the t.v... Am waiting for the washing maching to finish so I can pop the washing on the line, hopefully it'll dry although it doesn't seem to be as warm and blowing about as yesterday sadly...
Kaz I'm pleased that you've found somewhere to stay for the time being, hopefully at the end of the 28 days things will be more known as to what can be done..
I'm quite pleased that I've managed to delete some things on the list, and I am hoping to get most of the list done by the end of the week ready for next week
But I won't beat myself up if I don't get it down, after all it is only week one of this isolation.
On a non essential note I'm really missing being able to do the different fonts and colors on MSE. And I gave up with HTML as the HTML view on these threads drive me nuts...lol
So far today I've done the following:

- Bedding in the machine
- Changed the towels in the bathroom

Morning all. Three washloads done and I'm wearing a grubby top and gardening trousers and not yet showered because I'm going in the garden again. I haven't dug so much that I'm feeling any pain but I fell asleep on the sofa last night sitting up. I've pegged out one lineful, need to wipe the other line and peg out the rest. I will put 'short' stuff on that line as my prop broke. That's been given to the NDNs for their chimnea.
I'm with you Dancemum - the bright days are helping massively.

Morning xx
Anyone else using Natty's first post to find out what day it is? Or is that just me?
Day 13 and I actually think I am on the mend. Being cautious as I thought that yesterday and then, in the evening, my throat and ears flared up again. For the first time in what feels like forever I don't feel ill / bleugh. And I didn't start the day coughingI need to get my strength back up now so I can get back to work next week. I'll be asking for the antibody test as if I do now have immunity I might be able to help up at the hospital.
DS's step-mum just appeared at the living room window and made me jump. They've been to Mr T and she brought me long life milk, pop, bananas and ….. tomato ketchup. woot woot. She says they won't be going to Mr T again as they are queueing round the car park - in a socially distanced manner. They'll use Mr C from now on.
My Dad video-called DS yesterday which prompted DS to come down and say 'Mum, you really do need to get a new phone. Even Grandad is more up to date than you'. Later DB phoned to try and get me set up so that Dad can call me through my laptop. DB was laughing saying that I'm worse than Dad as I didn't have a clue what he was talking about. I spoke to Dad (on a normal phone) and he now has credit on his phone and access to the internet on his PC - he sounded a lot brighter, but still breathless.
I put my clean bottom sheet and pillow cases back on my bed last night. That felt good. I didn't wash my duvet cover as I don't have the energy for that particular battle right now. My duvet fights back; does yours?
Mademoiselle - when the dots start coming together it's a lovely feeling and in the meantime: every little helps. (That's my flylady mantra) xx

Good morning 😁
Round I was going to say the same thing about not knowing what day it is!
I didn't get back on yesterday, but I completed round 2 😁 I also got the washing off the line (1st time it was used this year) and cooked dinner.
I need to get moving now. I am up & dressed, had breakfast, spoken to my mum & checked the bank accounts. The garden is my main plan today, specifically the patio. But I also need to clean up the kitchen. Time for a little list...
Round 1
Wash up
Wipe kitchen surfaces
Empty food bin
Load DW
Back soon 😁11 -
Lunch is now in the oven.
Have done a bit of admin, my time sheet before I actually forget that I did work the first week of this month, and that hopefully someone somewhere will pay me.
Pulled a few things out of the landing cupboard, into charity bag or in a bag to go to fabric recycling (although they might get used for sewing projects if we are confined for too long and the weather turns bad)
Been to garage and found another little fork so can carry on in the garden this afternoon
Cleared kitchen and laid table
Need to catch up with some friends this afternoon so I think I will sit in the sun and call/whatsapp etc
Another small window cleaned
Keep SMILING, see you later11 -
Morning all (just!)
Lunch in the oven here too, part baked rolls with ham and halloumi, yum. Bedding is on the line, kids playing banangrams in the sun, I've got some seeds to sow later and plenty of other jobs to do. We have decluttered DDs room so I have a bag of things to sell when this is all over. Also binned yet more junk out of the garage, and put some stuff on the pavement with a Free sign on it.I must confess I am enjoying this time at home xx11
