Good morning
I was awake early (not really like me!) but have only been 'up' for about an hour! I am dressed and have had breakfast. Today I need to get a few bits of shopping and walk the dog. I think I will walk him before the rush at 5pm - thanks for the heads up Natty!
I think I will make a little list to keep me focussed....
Round 1
check bank accounts & juggle if needed
chase email to parent re funding
prepare invoices up to last Friday - I am closed now, so don't feel I can charge from this week
empty DW
put on WM
Kaz I hope you get something sorted. When are you due to take possession of the new house?
DD1 is trying to catch cats & put them in boxes before the removal men arrive - still waiting for the nod that they have exchanged/completed *fingers crossed emoji*
Back soon!
Edit to add: removal men are there & they have had the nod! They are only moving about 1/2 mile away so shouldn't take long

Morning xx
Another beautiful day.
I'm finding my inner mse flylady - I've told DS we'll be having smaller portions of food as we are not doing the things we usually do and therefore don't need the calorie intake. I didn't tell him it's called rationingTea last night was using up bits and bobs left in packets in the freezer plus the last of the eggs (slightly ood but they smelled ok so we ate them) My breakfast today will be a porridge pot that I found in the cupboard - it's not ood but I had forgotten it was there. We're not short of food but I want to keep it that way.
Chatted with my cousin on fb last night - gave her Dad's phone number and she rang him. He told her all about Benidorm. That would break up his evening. He's going stir crazy already.
Definitely less traffic going by today.
I'm going to strip my bed and if DS is awake he can strip his too - it's another great drying day. Got to make the most of it. I'll get dressed whilst I'm up there, then set WM going before I eat.
Back later

ETA Hope you find a solution Kazw. Hugs xx

Pause for coffee here
WM 1
HHi
Bedroom aired
And I've done half an hour pottering on my landing; There is a pile of pictures beside the chest of drawers which nave been there for 18 years I think. So pulling them out and seeing which can go and then will see where we can put the ones we want to keep up. Horrid and dirty as cat has peed there too so sticky and dusty.
Bank manager just called to explain what days bank now open and how they are working from home.
Need to plan something for lunch, asparagus, homemade chips and a poached egg?
And need to get something out of the freezer for dinner13 -
I'm so sorry I've been absent for so long. I've missed everyone. I've been desparately trying to catch up with life but the longer I keep working at it all the more I realise needs doing. Things are coming together, the house looks pretty okay most of the time, I bought a new whoopsied V*l*d* twizzley mop last week and washed the kitchen floor with it yesterday. It's the first time I've washed a floor without having to kneel on the floor for 26 years. That's progress. And I got my L!dl overlocker going, which has been worrying me for five months because I needed one to make what I want to make and had to teach myself how to use it. Unfortunately I now have to move furniture around in my office because of another thing that's going on here and that'll take all of today, but after that I should be able to get sewing again. I need to do it to have something to look forward to because life's a bit tense, isn't it?Better is good enough.14

Washing on line, another load in. Wellies and gloves put in sunshine to warm up. It's a clear, cloudless sky. How can things be so awful when we have our beautiful world?
Thrilled that there's a 6 months oxtension for MOT tests; for those due on or after 30th March. Mine is due the 31st so I am so pleased. Yesterday the family was nagging persuading me to get it sorted/booked. I said I would wait and see as I knew they'd suspended them in Ireland. I think I'm doing well not to have the screaming eebie-jeebies with my history of anxiety and depression - though I say it myself. 2019 taught me a lot! Although I may be hanging on with one eyelash I am hanging on.
My bedding has finished swishing and DS has just brought his down. He was asleep when I went up so I left him to his zzzzzs. I'll set his swishing and hang mine out. I've eaten the pot of wallpaper paste instant porridge, so that's why it was still in the cupboard

Round 1 done! It took longer than I thought, but invoices are out and I'm pleased to say that the majority have already been paid
I have not spoken to the bank re a mortgage payment holiday yet as I will wait to see what (if any) help we get and how we get on with what we have. My income this month is down a bit, but near normal. It's a marathon not a sprint!
Round 2 (as I have just finished my cuppa)
hang out washing
put load 2 on
shopping - I think I will walk as extra exercise as I don't need loads
walk the dog

Squeak needs to get her act together and write a bit on how people get ready for easter..
If it's any help Twinkl (website) have given free access to their website and in KS1 RE there is a powerpoint - very high church/catholic which explains Lent and giving things up. That might be where the school want her to look;)
Thank you.. we have LOADS of places to look... she is currently sobbing in the garden because it's all too difficult.. we are letting her calm down with some TTrockstar and we will address it together after lunch when she is calmer. She has had tears over everything. She is a bit overwhelmed by everything and the hrmone fairy has paid a visit so she is crying over absolutely every tiny little thing... when I said this to her a few weeks ago she wailed harder and said 'why didn't they tell us this in the puberty class?? They said we could have mood changes but not this!!! '' .... She is a touch on the dramatic side on occasion.
Dot is WILD in the garden.
OH has filled a wheelie bin already... and if he doesn't stop running in and out I WILL lock the door!
2 loads of washing out and 2 more loads in. I need to get the other 2 girls beds stripped and I might then make a start on some more flinging in there.
My hayfever is awful.. double dosed it so we shall see how that goes.
Still no telephone consult with GP.. it was supposed to be yesterday, they aren't ringing at all are they? What a farce! Good job I didn't want to speak to them about my throat or an actual illness isn't it?!

Well it turns out that I’m not used to exercise 3 days in a row! I have planted half of my early potatoes, removed a bucket of weeds and manhandled a netting contraption that DH built last year....and I am knackered. Restorative coffee being glugged, then I will plan the next round. DH should finish work about 3pm so I will get the vacuum cleaner out then.
Bedding changed and now swishing in the wm. Bed remade. Windows are flung open. It’s a beautiful day, I’m not sure if Mother Nature is trying to calm us or point out our faults. Today’s nature count has been bees, lots of wriggly worms and a butterfly.
Big clap to our bin men who have shown up for the bins and the recycling. For a reason best known to them, they didn't take our bottles, but I’m grateful that they have been for the rest.15
