Lunch made, decluttered and washing up done. It's been a learning curve. I have discovered I don't like jackfruit or red Thai curry. The rice was lovely though and DD thought it was great.
Bathroom swished and swiped after I'd had a shower. Ben washing is nearly done ✔,
20 mins of walking and marching about the house done.
DD wanted a film type account so she can watch in her room so that's been done.
I can't believe it's only quarter past 3 !
I'm not a muggle...I'm just magically challenged12 -
Third load is now pegged out and blowing in the sunshine.
And I finally managed to get on to Mr M's website to add a few bits (fresh milk, bleach and fabric conditioner - but no tomato ketchup :-( ) to the delivery I have coming on Saturday - and breathe.
DS is happily creating an online quiz to send out into the ether at some point. If I understand correctly it will go out live - quizzers will see him, but he won't see them. Carefully explained after he'd used my lappy as a guinea pig to test his 'streaming' and I'm sat waving at him. Well, he could see me when I Skyped him at Uni, how was I to know this was different lol

Fluttering very slowly, and very randomly.
Pot plant now has some more fresh soil, and I wiped its leaves
Basket drawer thing that is loitering on the landing gathering junk is a bit emptier than before. All clothes removed and put in correct places.
WM 3
Some weeds pulled out froml between the planks on the patio
Coffee and long chat with a friend (sadly only by phone)
10 steps ups done on each foot (very concious we are not getting enough exercise)
Cup of tea given to OH as trying to reduce the amount of caffeine he has, even gave him a biscuit as there was just 1 left in the packet
Not thought about dinner, but last night's dinner got split into 2 portions so could just reheat that.

Ensuite cleaned and bathroom given a s&s.
Paving steps across the so-called lawn found from under the overgrown grass. I only meant to do a few, but it was sunny and peaceful, so I finished the job. One crossed from DH’s to do list, apparently, so he is happy.
Texted a couple of friends to check that they are ok, and toasted each other with our respective cuppas.
I was convinced that I had done something else useful. Apparently not.11 -
Called the hospital this morning to see whether being 7 days post symptoms was OK, only to be told that the appointment had been cancelled. Just as well I hadn't gone and stuffed myself into one of the few mini trains they're now providing to get every financial, hospital and building site worker into the city, wasn't it? They had sent a 'please keep your appointment' text literally five minutes beforehand.
So went back to 'working'. Which was largely emailing parents codes for online lessons, as their darling angels were claiming they had never received them ever - despite their being set up and used regularly since September - or that they had logged in and the teachers hadn't bothered setting work, honest. Nobody to my knowledge had actually eaten their logins, however. It's possible that the school has somebody with access to them and their work email tomorrow, Piggers.
Then the bloke over the back who used to kick his footballs over the wall when he was a lad called over and asked if we could help him get his ball back. Yup. A fully grown man now. And still playing with the same s*dding football. Strangely beaten by the big prickly tree I planted to keep him out of the garden in the first place . Fortunately, the tiny bit of plant chopping I did last week meant I had enough space to crawl under the branches to get the ball from behind the shed without completely shredding myself. BUT - when I got back in, I couldn't stop wheezing for five minutes. Which was rather unpleasant.
Himself is being contacted by work asking if he's prepared to come back the instant that the initial quarantine period is over to work solely with high infective risk clients. And if he'll agree to travel miles on multiple trains to cover another centre as well. Everybody else is saying no. He's going to talk about it (and say no to the other location). After all, if he's not getting paid something more for the extra effort and risk, he might as well stay home safe and be paid his contracted hours like everybody else.
Thanks to that major wheezing session, I am making a point of doing nothing at all. It was not pleasant.
And I'd thought I was better.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll14 -
Busy but lovely day here.
We walked the dog first thing, then I had to nip to the pharmacy. We have made the most of the weather and been in our garden doing "PE" all day 🤣, well it seemed a shame to spend it indoors. Two loads of washing line dried and put away, HM toad in the hole made for dinner and kitchen tidied. I think it will be early nights all round.
I have run out of face cream, can anyone recommend a good one, ideally with SPF? Thank you x
Kaz - delighted for you xx
YL - I wish I could help you love xx
Hope HB is reading along and keeping well, if you read this how is the cleaning coming along?
Have lovely evenings all xx13 -
Well we got through today. 7 hours of paid stuff done, a short dog walk, roast dinner cooked and kitchen sorted, and lots of laundry hung out in the sunshine. DH is in such a dilemma, does he keep working and keep earning money or does he pack it in and stay home to keep DS safe. I am sort of beyond caring with the money side of it but DH has built this business up over 17 years and if he stays home he doesnt know how many customers he will have left. Oh well an early night tonight I think, tomorrow is another day.12

Exhausted, crazy-haired woman checking in. I'm reading and trying to keep up, but have homeschooling duties on top of everything, so not doing very well. I refuse to use the F word...but it feels might close to it.
