Well, I finally did some non-gardening flying! 😂 When I got home I had a shower, then cleaned the shower, sink and toilet.
The kids had emptied the DW and stacked it, so I restacked it (glasses laying down 🤦♀️), WULTD, wiped down kitchen surfaces and cooked dinner (DH usually cooks, but he has extra work and I have none!)
Watched some TV while sending important emails to the LA and parents to advise them I am closed. DW put on, and now I am ready for sleep.
GWS wishes to Jojo & Round. And it's good to see you posting Dizzy
Night night everyone x

Well done to all you home schoolers. I've finally pretty much finished the first of my difficult reports, sent it (anonymised) to a colleague for any comments so it just needs a final check before heading for management. Which means 4 more to go, 2-3 of which are also tricky ones.
Had 'distance coffee' with neighbours as planned, very pleasant sitting in the sun yelling across the shrubs at each other.
Mr N and I pruned a few shrubs for other neighbour who is elderly and much worried about her even more elderly husband who seems to be very anxious and glued to his bedroom or sofa when he's not asleep. Mr N mowed their lawn.
Filled bird feeders.
Arranged some flowers for the lounge.
Heard on one of those virus question times on the news that someone asked if they could just drive out in their car if they didn't stop anywhere. Answer was yes. Made us consider a motorbike ride, but decided it would be terrible if we broke down or had some sort of accident so other people would have to help us - we'd feel so guilty so decided against it.
Went for a run and on the way, posted some seeds to my mum as she'd asked if I had any spare flower ones. Checked seeds and was disappointed and surprised I hadn't bought veg seeds in last year's sales; I always do, but can't find them. Hoping I can get some on line as if we're confined home I'm really missing the opportunity to start everything.
Tried to book Mr T on line but site kept collapsing, not really surprised and it's not going to be urgent for ages - just wanted to get a slot booked for mid-April as a backup for when we've eaten our way through the freezer.
Mr N had an email from MIL's care home offering relatives the chance to Skype or Facetime residents. We aren't sure as last time Mr N set up a video call with his brother so MIL could talk to him, she got very confused and didn't really understand. We trust and know that her staff are kind and that she is contented, so think it would be best not to cause confusion. Difficult.
Oh well need to finalise devil report. See you all tomorrow.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.16 -
Morning all
Awake really early but busy brain wouldn’t let me sleep...Calls made to older relatives last night, plus had a nice chat over Skype with some friends, work today are introducing a virtual tea break in our teams, will try to join that if I have time although I don’t normally ‘see’ much of my colleagues it might be nice to be able to stop work and chat for a bit.
Fluttering will start at a more reasonable hour, I’ve got the wm loaded and ready to go, will have my shower and get ready first.
take care all xx14 -

YL - I am assuming your DH works outdoors? I hope you can sort something, the pressure of being the sole wage earner is very hard, it's take a bit to get used to for me, you WILL get through this lovely xx
Another sunny day. I am going to walk the dog in a minute then lessons start at 9am. Only until noon though today as we will be gardening this afternoon, stay safe all x13 -

I imagine that by the end of all this and we go back to normality, everyone will have all their houses sorted out and probably some of their toots list done too. As well as all our washingMortgage Free as of 20.9.17Declutter challenge 2023, 2024 🏅 🏅⭐️⭐️

Oh Kaz. Lots of hugs, wish I was in the right area and could help xx.
Awake a lot again in the night, but I have just read a few chapters of my book. Quite pleasant lying in bed with the sun poking through the blinds. And all that on a Wednesday and all.
Wm is on, and I am having a cuppa, contemplating the day. Not sure why I am bothering - it is sunny, therefore I will garden. I’m just pretending that it is any other decision.
DH is working in the DR, so I will keep out of the way until he finishes this afternoon, then attempt to fly. It appears that last night, I did the ironing from yesterday’s washing - I can’t even remember doing it!
Hugs all round xx

Morning all, I'm up and about. The cats woke me up early, even shutting the door to didn't deter them, one of them has obviously learnt how to open shut doors. I imagine it's by hanging off the handle..I also have my suspicions that it is young ninjacat Kiwi
So I am up and about, washing is just about to finish in the washing machine - I'll pop that out on the line as soon as it's finished then put another load in.
Then off to have a shower and get dressed. DH has gone up to his office to start work and log on to the bank server. I hope he has more work to do than he did yesterday otherwise I can see the bank telling them to just log on and leave the computer on all day till end of work, then log off. But that they don't have to do anything. It's all very quiet for him as a lot of his clients are shut down too.. He's been prowling around the house too when he has nothing to do. This is all very weird workwise for him. But I am glad that the bank was on the ball and got everything set up before they had to. It also helps that DH did do two days work from home anyway before all this.
I am still trying to get used to how quiet it is outside, the only people we really saw yesterday when we went to walk the dog and get our daily excercise together was other people walking their dogs after finishing work from home at 5pm.. You can tell whose been working from home as they come out with the dog just after 5pm...lolMortgage Free as of 20.9.17Declutter challenge 2023, 2024 🏅 🏅⭐️⭐️
