I think someone the other week kept complaining and showed their 'sent item' email as proof and the CCJ was set aside. The CCBC have Judges, so prove that the email was sent to the right mail address and say that you are aware from another case in the public domain that the CCBC admitted they were experiencing issues with their emails in recent weeks.

I can't find the case, but the CCBC did admit they had issues with their emails so keep complaining, THIS WEEK, and supply the evidence that you did all that was asked.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I would send the DQ again from another email address. Maybe set up a throwaway gmail address for the purpose. See if you then get the auto response.

If you get no auto response, phone the CCBC again to find out whether they received it or not.

Seems rather strange that twice now, several weeks apart, you have not received the auto response. At the moment I suspect your email setup, but I'm not an IT technical expert.
Good idea sent another E-mail from another address, received no auto-response from this either.
Not sure what to do now, I will send another E-mail from another address, if I phone again they will more than likely tell me to email them what I've already emailed them ha.

Thanks, I will try and find that.
I will phone them again because I've tried two different E-mail accounts now and I don't want to be stressing over this all week.

    Phone phone and phone
    they CAN sort this.
  • These people are an absolute joke, just phoned again, phoned before but there were 36 people in the queue. The lady was unsympathetic, and basically explained without the bounce back there is nothing they can do. I asked to speak to her manager, so she said yeah sure, then hung up...ha whether it was a mistake or not is unknown, but what am I supposed to do?
I can't get a bounceback from their E-mail address, the support via the phone number obviously have no idea and very little control...at a loss.
  • Phoned again and finally got through to the manager and been told to send it via another E-mail, so lets see what happens now.

Did you also complain about the very poor customer service you received on your previous call?
  • To update, it's been three weeks since they promised to get back to my E-mail after speaking to the manager on the phone on the 23rd March 2020. It's now getting very close to the CCJ being automatically added I guess, I phoned again this morning to be put in a queue that was expected to be at least 1 hour and 14 minutes, sadly I don't have time to sit and wait since I am trying to run a business during these odd times.
What can I do though? I've tried and tried and tried to get through to the courts and when I do they're no help at all, it's a complete shambles.

Have you complained to your MP?
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

No, I will definitely do this - but not sure how that will help me in the short term though, really do not want to get a CCJ as it will affect my personal life and my business. At the same time, really don't think I should be bullied into paying almost £300 for a fine I received in my own parking space...that I paed £10k for.
