Really? What proportion of your portfolio does Tesla represent for you, Username?
Hope the OP took the plunge soon after posting; and the first respondent - do you realise that your comment appears underneath whenever anyone looks at the thread?0 -
Anyone else taking a punt and buying the dip in Tesla?

I've been adding during the dips. It's a great company with many exciting things planned for the future

Adding through the dips is a great strategy.
Because, when the price rebounds to where it was, you are already in profit.0 -
So, when keyboardrrier posted about buying the dip price was 407 and now it is 425.
Thanks for the masterclass.0 -

Bought 4 at ~ £200 from April 2018 - May 2019, sold one earlier this year for ~£800 because the price was crazy and I thought "well at least I've guaranteed myself a 0% loss", then the price went crazier, sold another at ~£1200, and one more since the split at ~£340, i.e. my current holding is 45% of what it was. That's all for now. I still believe in the company but the price is insane. I hate to be a market timer/speculator but that's all it is, luck.

Looks like I'll get to top up at $360 next week.
Tesla spurned in S&P 500 reshuffle !!!
"Tesla has been left out of the latest additions to the S&P 500, dashing the carmaker’s hopes of joining the blue-chip index despite meeting the most onerous bar to entry: turning a consistent profit.S&P Dow Jones Indices, which manages the benchmark, snubbed the California electric vehicle maker in the first round of additions since June, which were announced late on Friday."
