            Afternoon folks.
I have officially been sent to work from home for the foreseeable future. I'm trying to get the desk space working for me but seem to have broken the speakers when I plugged my work mouse in
OH's gigs have started to be cancelled but the music school that he teaches at is going to stay open until the gov says it must close.
Weird times. Very weird times. OH and I seem to be arguing already. Which we don't really do. Usually he only gets tetchy when he's worried and won't admit to it
DFW things today will be not going anywhere and not spending any money!
 I hope you're all ok

EDIT: I have just had a very good idea. OH is going to raise the possibility of doing lessons via video call if the school closesLBM 11/06/2010: DFD 30/04/2013Total repaid: £10,490.315

Afternoon all Today's small things:Washed coat and pegged out on line to dryUsual kitchen clean up etc, while OH hoovered roundPacked Webuybooks parcel and took it to the drop off point. Tried to collect my prescription as it is in the same road, but apparently there had 'been an incident' in the pharmacy and they had to close. Will try again tomorrow.Paid milk bill online (not moneysaving, moneyspending in fact, but needed to be done).Planted earliest seed potatoes in big pots, dug over a patch on the veg plot and planted out some little chard plants. Repotted a large lovage plant that is just starting to sprout. Not ideal for pot growing as they get huge, but no room for it anywhere else, and it is a big pot! The celery flavoured leaves are nice in salads. Broke up the broken clay pot it was in before, to use as drainage material at the bottom of other pots. Slightly less early potatoes are ready to be planted in the veg patch, but will do another day.Listed some potted fuchsia plants and an azalea on freecycle as I don't like them but I am sure someone else would. They were given to me last year or the year before and they are just something else to look after.Still to do: Bolognese to make for dinner, sales stock I bought yesterday to put away, tupperware drawer to sort out, banks to check, spreadsheet to update Today's small things:Washed coat and pegged out on line to dryUsual kitchen clean up etc, while OH hoovered roundPacked Webuybooks parcel and took it to the drop off point. CLF my ex is a private music teacher and apparently he will try to do music lessons over skype as he's self isolating, as he has asthma. He has also decided to not see is boys ut that is an other story.
Went into t3sc0 on the way home from work with a vague plan to stock up a bit - omg there was no food on the shelves, and the parking lot was full - 4 pm on a Tuesday I still find it really weird, but I now have a big bag of coffee! Have a good Wednesday.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Congratulations, what lovely news - take care and rest when baby rests, time goes so fast and housework will be there long after your baby needs cuddles.princess_pea said:Hi everyone. Congratulatons @princess_pea!
 Morning folks
Coming to you from chez Fanta on the first full day of lockdown. I decided to stay in my routine of walking to work so I took a 30 min walk before sitting at my desk. I also intend to do the same at the end of the day. It was even raining this morning so I felt very committed.
Current events for us are that my sil was sent home from work with a fever (district nurse) so we aren't visiting anyone on that side of the family, including mil for 2 weeks unless she tests negative (if they test her... I would think that they would as she's a nurse).
We have decided that we will continue going to the gym unless it is forced to close. It's big warehouse and freezing cold with the doors open, not a stuffy, air-conditioned gym. We can spread out really far away from the other folks and we will be disinfecting the equipment before and after use.

princess_pea congratulations on the birth of DS. I can only second what ziggy said, rest when baby rests. Time does go too quick.
I hope everyone is doing okay. I have dipped my toe into the forum a couple of times but had alot of password problems i just didnt time to sort out.
I am hoping i will have had a big job promotion will find out next week. All the practical stuff-the sporting activities are currently cancelled. Lots of meetings and paperwork pushed through last week. I already feeling tetchy aswell.
Im in the vulnerable group but i cant self isolate. Never did masses outside but im taking more precautions when i do go out. Sometimes it might be to post a royal mail survey item just to get some fresh air and i do it at a quiet time.
Off to the doctors today to have a line changed, i have an open line. Much easier than doing at home with cats jumping out everywhere and one getting really defensive thinking the nurses are attacking me.
I cant stock up alot of food, i havent the room and i like doing my top up shops. My main problem is cat litter. I had to travel to the next town the other morning at 8am to try and find some. Nothing in Aldi but did find some in B&M. We have a massive Tesc@ in there and i heard it had to close its doors Sat night early (its a 24 hour one) as it had been stripped bare, staff had been abused. The world has gone mad. Have enough in to make plenty of meals, as DD isnt back home yet.
I had needed petrol so thought i would pop in and they also had cat litter so will prob have to do that again and at 8am it was alot quieter in the next town than where i live. We dont have many shops so they have been stripped bare.
Anyone who knew of my toilet roll saga knew that i had over 100 toilet rolls before Christmas on some cracking Amaz@n deals. I still have plenty so going to pop a pack hidden in my car in case i see anyone who needs some.,
So have been doing my paperwork, watching more tv programmes, washing and storing away the winter bedding. Not really been spending any money except for when i need cat litter.
 Banking all checked
 Need to check quidco
 Drs today
 Need to steam clean floors.
Longer term plans include wrapping the christmas presents i have (i know, i know), doing DIY touch ups and more paperwork-oh the joy!!Decluttering challenge 2023🏅⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

            Morning All
Beginning to wish I'd never got up, slept shocking due to sore throat and ear ache which has led to a blummin headache, no hot water and no idea (have done what manual suggests so maybe a plumber visit? if they'll visit of course cos we are in high risk group). Going to try some more self care and a bit of pampering (face mask & soaked feet yesterday) and hope that helps lift mood - everything is just so worrying, feel so torn between doing whats best for us as a family and caring for mum etc. Currently raining but hoping to get some fresh air later (even if it is sitting in the garden to watch the birds), so today's plans:
Check Bank & made PAD - Done
Exercise Bike and a few stretches (as Gym now closed) -
 RM Correctly Delivered - Done
Start getting quotes for car insurance -
Look at swapping current a/c -
Binge watch Drama (as current TV/news is adding to anxiety and not providing the reassurance I think they believe they are offering) -
 Swagbucks -
 Craft -
 Purge a few emails -
 Enter a few comps -
 All meals from cupboards/fridge/freezer -
Check: Lucky Bob, PMP, WinaDinner -
 Read Library Book -
Stay safe everyone, inbox always open if anyone needs to chat
