Hello all, hope everyone is doing ok, I'll try and catch up on the thread today/tomorrow and get back to posting.
Thank you @ziggy2407 for your message last week.
We've been self isolating since the beginning of the week as dh had a nasty cough which hopefully seems to have settled down now. He's classed as vulnerable with the diabeties so he's home for the forseeable. The kids are also home so its a very strange time, trying to find a new normal.
In the way of "small things"
 * free exercise at home using youtube, getting out for walk/run etc
 * no shopping done since Saturday but the kids are coming up with interesting plans for meals which is keeping them busy (I just need to add veggies to everything they suggest!)
 * checking banking/updated spreadsheet
 * meal planned and updated freezer inventory
 * started writing a list of things to do tomorrow
Take care one and all .Sticking with the "Small things" thread to keep up us on the straight and narrow.

            Morning all,
 Todays plans
 * check banking/update cashbook
 * look at both car insurances and the house one as they're all due 1/4/20
 * ring the theatre as we've been offered a new date or refund on two comedy shows we had booked - going to get the refund as the new dates are mid week dates which won't work when Dh goes back to work when all this pandemic is over
 * make mackerel fishcakes for dinner as I have lots of potatoes sprouting
 * get out for a walk/run or two for free exercise
 * update freezer inventory and meal plan
 * wash a load on the quick wash and hang on the line as it's not raining for a change!
 * facetime later with my parents as we can't visit
 * look in the garage for some wood to see if we can make dh's wfh set up work a bit better, its fine for the once a week he's usually wfh but could do with some extra space as its now for at least 12 weeks
That's enough of a start, take care all.

Good to hear from you @1LuckyLady Our house had been out of a routine since early last week when the stomach bug started. I thought I had escaped without being infected but alas no. One advantage has been nobody has been eating much. Ds has lost track of time and thought today was going to be Monday.
We need to establish a new routine taking into account OH working from home for the foreseeable future and most of the groups/clubs/workshops/training etc we attend are suspended.
 Plans for today:
 NSD
 RM survey
 Check bank account
 Wash hair with shampoo bar
Hopefully, I can add to the list through out the day.
Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent
79.5 coupons rolled over 4/75.5 coupons spent - using for secondhand purchases
 One income, home educating family5

            Morning all!
@1LuckyLady - good to "see" you and glad your OH is ok
@PurpleFairy26 - thanks. It only took a global crisis to spur him into action
Had a bit of a ropey night's sleep. OH woke up at 12.30 and got up, then came back to bed at 3.30 and woke me both times. Struggled to settle properly after that and had broken sleep until just after 7 when I gave up. I've checked in with all my direct reports at work. We are all present and correct.
Today we need milk and bananas ideally. We could go without them but OH really loves porridge with banana for breakfast. It's hard because of the current advice... we aren't on lock down... but I also don't intend to be nipping to all kinds of shops. I'm going to get OH to head up to a local farm shop as they seem well stocked. I may get a couple of treats while I'm there so we're not missing out too much.
We are planning to go to the allotment later. I figure that this is a pretty safe bet. We'll sow more peas and do some weeding. There might be some rhubarb to pick too. It feels sort of illicit to be out of doors at the moment doesn't it?
So the proper list. I've just spent a pleasant 20 minutes online ordering my cards for the rest of the year. I got 36 cards and 2 gift bags (to take me over the free shipping threshold - so negates the cost) for £27 they really are lovely cards and I've used them before so I got £2 off from a loyalty scheme so £25 in total. They are called wh1stlefish. And have a special offer on 12 cards for £8 until Monday 23rd. I have referral code too if anyone does what to use them and you get £5 off your first order

hope it's of use to someone.6

            Hi CLF!
The cards are technically open though I reduce the credit limits on them as they are paid down so I literally can't borrow more.
At this point I am still getting paid and hope that won't change - probably wouldn't find out til September anyway if that was the case. So I'll take your advice and keep paying minimum plus the extra. Have been feeling v insecure about cash. But I must remember:
-I (and many of us I think) won't be paying for fuel into work/bus fare etc
 -or parking
-or any food out of the house
-or any incidentals for the DD who is good at persuading me when we're out
-or any school holiday trips or stays
 -maybe no school summer uniform
So actually I should be able to afford to carry on as usual. My new big expense is going to be endless snacks for DD while she is in the house at virtual school and I am upstairs working.
Also a big THANKS to all who are still working outside the home in shops/deliveries/farms/emergency services/healthcare. I am grateful every day and will continue to be so. Afternoon all Walked to post office this morning to pick up a parcel (the postman left a card when I didn't get to the door on time yesterday) and it turned out to be 2 RM surveys packs, containing boxes that will need to be handed over at the post office counter. I really would have thought they would suspend the survey during the current circumstances, but it appears not Walked to post office this morning to pick up a parcel (the postman left a card when I didn't get to the door on time yesterday) and it turned out to be 2 RM surveys packs, containing boxes that will need to be handed over at the post office counter. It was busier than normal, but of course it is Friday when many people do their shopping. Nobody with loaded trollies panic buying though, mainly baskets like me. Interesting to note that the shelves where the flour and dried yeast would normally be were empty though. Can't imagine that they were cleared between opening time and 9.15 ish by the sedate shoppers who were in there, so wonder if the stocks are being replenished as frequently as we are assured. Anyway, I bought some eggs, lettuce and tomatoes, and a nice parsley plant from their gardening section. All very odd, as apart from the strident lady, there was only me, and one other person in front of me at the till, in there at the time. Strange times we are living in!Anyway, finished off some fridge stuff for lunch, and it will be pesto pasta for dinner. I have an apple cake in the oven to use up one and a half aged apples.Been out in the garden briefly to plant my new parsley, but it is so cold I didn't stay out long. I did however cut various leaves to supplement the rather boring gem lettuce that I got in Waitrose; some self sown land cress and some spinach and chard. There isn't much out there at this time of the year, but there is always something. I will be sowing some seeds for microgreens and some mung beans for sprouts tomorrow, after perusing the contents of my seed tin. Anyway, need to take my apple cake out of the oven now. Good Evening all
Been a gorgeous day here, cold but lovely sunny skies, washing basket now empty (might as well make use of nice weather). Quick visit to shop to get a couple of things for mum but wasted journey as none available anywhere (luckily nothing too desperate so will keep looking). Quick visit to mum and another clean through (she managed to spill a bag of sugar all over her armchair but didn't see it), she's frustrating the h*ll out of me at the min by still going out - hairdressers today, a few shops and then to a café, so we're running about after her and she's gadding about (and shopping too for others in her block). Anyway, sorry for moaning, here's what happened today apart from the saga above

Morning all. How lovely to wake up to sunshine beaming through the window. Today’s tasks:
make a start on tidying the garden
 home manicure
get a picture down from the loft and hang
get some wood out of the loft and repair a bed
 get some
next size clothes down and pack up too small ones
 check banking
apply for a new bank account for
 DH to get switch bonus
think about closing one of my bank accounts. It was paying a decent interest rate for £3k when I opened it. Now it’s a fairly rubbish rate for £1,500 only.Make a cake
make sausage rolls - take pastry out of freezer
Have a good day all. Purps.4
