  • Our online shop came yesterday and our next one is booked for a week on Friday - I usually get them weekly so that will be a few extra days. I'm pretty sure we have lots in and it will give us a chance to get creative raiding the cupboards. Our veg box is also due tomorrow so it's all good. 😊 Even if we didn't do a shop we'd be having soup and home made bread every night - no biggie in the grand scheme of things...right?!
Unless you run out of butter. That would be a sad time.

    Evening all :)
    Congratulations to Princess Pea :)
And Ziggy, I hope your day got better and you got your hot water sorted out :/
Bored.com today, and couldn't really settle to anything. Life seems very strange at the moment.
Walked to the surgery this afternoon to pick up my prescription, OH came and we took the dog, we all needed the exercise.
Using up tired fruit for breakfasts
Folded up washing on airer and prepped RM surveys items
Fridge bits for lunch, pate, toast, HM chutney and salad, very nice.
Dinner was the rest of the bolognese I made yesterday, this time with jacket potatoes and HM coleslaw
Freecycled some plants I didn't want to keep
No shopping, I am going to try to avoid until absolutely necessary as I really want to avoid manic supermarkets. I have a good store cupboard and full freezers, and now is the time to use them! Will try the corner shop first if I run out of anything vital.
Strange, warm, cloudy weather today, and it is raining now
Hoping to feel a bit more motivated tomorrow!

  • Morning. Finally been given the OK to work from home from now on. Had been building up courage to tell them I just wasn't going in. Have taken money from joint account to pay for last bits of food and some fuel, not a full tank as we won't be goign far over the next month or so!
No idea how we will manage to WFH with DD off school.
Wondering if I should reduce CC payments to the minimum and stash the extra? But I've been enjoying seeing those balances reduce! Just worried as nobody knows what will happen and although savings rates have been reduced that's not going to be the same for CC interest charges!
Am finding it much harder than usual to concentrate at home. Lack of sleep. Awful night for 5th night in a row since my workplace started announcing big changes for the virus.

Hope everyone is OK and stang as sane as any of us can be in these very strange times. Let me know what you think about CC minimums, please!
