((Hugs)) CLF. Try to find something outside of work to focus on - your allotment, or crochet perhaps. Small wins. Easily said I know I've been doing some gardening today - planted potatoes (all 8 of them, my garden is tiny I've been doing some gardening today - planted potatoes (all 8 of them, my garden is tiny ) and sowed leeks and parsnips in the mini greenhouse - the only way I can seem to get parsnips to grow is to sow them inside in pots and plant out, not the orthodox way at all!  But at least this way I can pop them in where there is a space. Also sowed some spring onions in a veg trug thing that OH made me last year, which I am keeping for salads, and watered the chard plants and parsley that I planted out the other day. Trying to devise some way of planting out my little pea plants so that the blimmin pigeons won't get them, but deferred that to another day.Apart from that I have stripped the bed off and remade it (OH helped me to turn the mattress and wrestle the duvet into its clean cover), washed the linen and dried it on the line outside, hoovered the bedroom floor, the landing and cleaned the bathroom. Lunch was cheese on toast with runner bean chutney, and dinner will be the rest of the pie we had yesterday, with baked potatoes and salad. I still have to make crumble topping for the rhubarb I baked yesterday, and will make a cake of some kind, or some scones at the same time. Also looked out the hip exercises I was given by the physio last year. I have a recurring problem with my hip that makes it painful to walk, and it has flared up again. Done the exercises once, must do again later. It isn't the kind of serious hip condition that requires surgery, just as well, good luck with that at the moment (!), but a sports injury sort of thing. The nurse who did my pre-op check before my (unrelated) surgery last year noticed it on my medical record and remarked that it is similar to a problem he had with his knee as a result of playing football. God knows how I got that, because I am and have always been the least sporty person imaginable ) and sowed leeks and parsnips in the mini greenhouse - the only way I can seem to get parsnips to grow is to sow them inside in pots and plant out, not the orthodox way at all!  But at least this way I can pop them in where there is a space.
