Morning all, I'm in all this week. No excuse not to be as now confined to home. All my work is cancelled, might do an hour a week by video conference but not sure. OH went to work this morning but strict measures in place, I think he'll be working from home once they have sorted out how the factory is going to keep going. All non essential business closed, just food shops, chemists, bank, post and petrol stations open. Need to work out how to have virtual coffee with my local friends.
Remaining positive and seeing it as a real opportunity to get on top of house and garden. Concious I need to keep my activity levels up too.
DD1 is a medical student and currently working in the hospital, she's just been told that they have to do 3 extra shifts a week on top of the normal week.
DD2 still working in a lesser affected part of the country but they have reorganised the office so spread people out and looking at working from home. Not sure how long they will be able to keep the factory running there either as deliveries are more and more disrupted.
Oh well off to fly
Today

MorningThank you for all the lists from FL central xI am now getting very worried about my move, for very obvious reasons, I am going to try to keep calm and carry on packing / moving stuff around / planning, but underneath the water like a swan my feet are kicking very hard..............Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Hugs for Deleted_User - I hope the sunshine helps to lift you today a little. xGet well soon to Round xMademoiselle sending energy vibes to your DD - gosh 3 extra shifts sounds an awful lot as I know that medics do long and numerous shifts as it is. xPigpen get well vibes for all your poorlies too. xThe school run this morning was noticeably quieter! It took us walking down 2 roads before we even saw another person, so it looks like there are potentially a lot of people who have decided to keep their children off school. I know of at least 3 children in the year below DS1 who were going to be self-isolating as their parents were asking advice last night on the facebook page.So far this morning, the downstairs has been hoovered. Need to put a darks load on as DS1 and I are both running out of socks as I seem to have done quite a few white's loads last week for some reason. I've also put DS1's spare bedding set back together as I washed his duvet etc over the weekend, so that is all back together and folded in his cupboard now too. DW is running and I'll empty and reload it later as it was too full for some of the dishes.A new Mr L opened last week, so DS2 and I are going to have a trip there as they've got little trolley for the children to push which is great, and as we only need a few bits and pieces, he can put them all in his trolley.
He's really excited by the prospect.
Happy flying everyone xxEnjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/201710 -
Morning....went to Mr Al, there was not a scrap of reduced price meat at all when doors opened at 8am.....most unusual, got some cheap veg and cakes (my pancreas is swearing already) so bought a tray of eggs to make tonight's dinner. I bought in part baked dinner rolls , good til 28th April in case people go insane and there is no bread left. Took some stuff to dump this morning and picked up nail in my new tyre I put on last month. Gonna have to drive on it for a bit, as I borrowed money to replace all 4 tyres last month, and I still owe for 2 of them.......so I will be limping along. So like has been suggested, going to stay home and fly as much as possible.
Going to ring electric company later and make sure my priority services flag is still on, so I get a generator to keep electric on Incase the whole world goes to pot, because I don't have facilities to cook by gas and I need insulin refrigerated. Scary times. I bought two manual can openers this week in case the electric goes off, so at least I can eat cold beans. I'm a child of the 70s, so i remember the electric going off for ages at a time, and mum cooking by candle light at the gas cooker. I have put a blanket ban on w!sh/eb@y and other internet shopping for everyone. What is pipeline can't be helped. But Zoflora and cloth by front door ready to sterilise doorbell and knocker after each visitor, and clean 'signed for' pads for deliveries. (You can't tell me they are wiping between each house...yuk!)
Coffee made, time for a bath and a scrub down, and check listy to cross some stuff off.
Stay safe ladies XXX

I've pegged out the first load of towels. Second load is swishing.
I haven't WUDUPA yet - but I've done the rest of my list and written a shopping list for DS. I daren't go the shop as (a) I haven't a clue what I've got and (b) I've got little or no voice so I might get stoned as 'unclean'(very feudal this village lol) More seriously I don't want to give whatever I've got to anyone else. Whatever it is . Not exactly how I planned to spend my week off, but at least I'm not debating whether I'll go in to work tomorrow or not - every cloud and all that
And, of course, I'm hoping that it will run its course and I'll still have some days off to enjoy.
Sorry to go on - I'm crap at being illI turn in to a purple minion!

GWS Round x
I hope you do manage to move house after all your hard work, kazwookie x
This morning I have phoned the bank and completed a large admin job for work, but there's plenty more where that came from
Meanwhile the WM has been swishing and I am about to peg out towels for a blow in the glorious sunshine
One day I will do some proper Flying... but at least I am one more step nearer to having a tidy study
DH went to the surgery to have his ulcer dressed and then kicked up a fuss when I asked him to wash his hands the minute he came back in the house. I despair!
Rosie keeps asking for a walk, but I need to get some lunch first.
Catch up later xx10 -
Washing done, dogs dropped off at groomer. I spent two hours in th3 garden, it's a beautiful day.Spend less now, work less later.10

Round you can still get tonsillitis after a tonsilectomy.. they can even grow back to a degree as they cannot remove all the tissue it is still possible. I know that is JUST what you want to hear.
Shopping list compiled for everyone.. whoever buys it first lets everyone else know to cross it off to avoid multiple purchases.. Quorn roasts? ... anyone seen those? i think they look (and taste) like webbox but DD1 loves it.
DW on
cat trays cleaned
WM x 2 filled but not enough to turn them on.
I got a call saying they had had a cancellation so can fix my dryer today so that is full of undies and turned on! Bedding all hung on doors and nearly dry.
Twinkle kept at home today she is very warm and has sooooooo much snot and is coughing up her lungs.. She spent all weekend howling over nothing so I figured as she is only 3 she can sit on the sofa in her fluffy mouse onesie and watch youtube all day.. she is scoffing mini cheddars so not THAT ill!! haha.... oooohhhh coughing while eating mini cheddars looks VERY messy... I didn't think of that.
School closures still excited about.. we are planning learning about climate change and catching up on spellings and stuff.. I have sorted with DD1 to steal her 2 and get them through their work too.. I want to see where Spam is at because he is really struggling academically. His dad isn't the shiniest spoon in the drawer which is fine, we can't all be the best but I do want to know if he has something we can help him with. There are major sensory issues and other factors going on.
Dots spellings.. this is going well.. I sing 'I am pretty. Oh so pretty' she says 'Vain, V-A-I-N' ... I say 'blue blood goes up, up, up' .. She says 'Vein. V-E-I-N' ... we found a way!
On with the next round of shifting stuff. OH is at the gym.. told him to make sure he washes at least his hands when he leaves.. those places are the most revolting places I can think of.. all that sweat and mucus and skin and germ breeding grounds makes me heave! I am so pleased everyone is being encouraged to practice basic hygiene.. sad it has taken this though when they should havebeen doing it for the last 170 years!! Just goes to show it is not me being OCD and crazy it is everyone else that is gross!!
I need to find my phone charger..
Charger.. cuppa and Kitchen I think. No energy for cleaning but if it is tidy I can delegate the actual cleaning.
Ooh I need to speak to diabetes nurse.. I need to know if Boog should be going to work.. T1 diabetic working in a factory with around 250 people from mainly Poland.. If she says no I will see about him having ESA for the next few weeks. I am a bit neurotic about the diabetes.
And I need to ring CMS asap.
