Without knowing what date you've said you want each mortgage payment to come out, it's difficult to say.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.0 -

According to my t&C's the interest due from drawdown / completion will be taken with the 2nd monthly payment due to it being within 14 days of your payment date.jmwar92 said:

You do get a letter from them confirming everything after completion, I also had them call me after completing to make sure I had the letter, confirm the details and answer any queries I had.
(I'm pretty sure I've mentioned timings of these in this thread somewhere, so it would be worth going from the start and looking for my user name to see what else I've said).Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.0 -
completing on 20th of this month and payments set for 1st of month. As you pay in arrears i wondered if it would come out 10 days after starting but others have said they just take less for first payment - so that makes sense.MovingForwards said:

My offer expires on the 1/12 solicitor is very slow and now requires more. Deed of concern which I am waiting for. I am hoping this just needs signing by the people involved. Also building insurance - How do I add bluestone into the insurance because I am sure I read somewhere that this is a requirement. Very stressed I have two weeks left before offer expires!0

This whole process is wearing me down more and more....We had our DIP on 18 September and have had the expected back and forth since then. The valuation was undertaken on the 22nd of October and we had expected to have reached a point of decision by now. I pushed our MA for an answer at the beginning of this month and she had been promised an answer by Friday the 6th.
Nothing was heard until the Monday where I was asked 3 questions, two of which we had already answered 3 times and one where they enquired who I was and would I be living at the property!
We then got a further update last Thursday saying that although everything was approved in October that due to the new lockdown they would need to reapprove everything but that they did not require any additional information.
They have now come back today and asked for a reference from OH employer - more delay. We are buying a new build and have already had the exchange deadline put back by seven weeks, I cannot imagine the builder will be too happy if we ask for a further delay.
What annoys me more though was if they hadn't come back to ask who I was then, on the info they provided, it would have gone to offer by now.
Up until now I have been relatively patient, understanding that to get it through takes time as it is done manually but what I cannot and will not accept is incompetence costing us a home. I have left it with MA to see how we proceed!0 -
Contact the insurer and ask them to note it, you will need written proof of it to submit to the solicitor.kris80 said:My offer expires on the 1/12 solicitor is very slow and now requires more. Has your offer been extended? If not, speak with the broker and ask they apply for an extension (bank statement and payslip at the ready)Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.0 -
Getting frustrated now.
AIP at the start of Oct, lots of to-ing and fro-ing with paperwork etc. Paid for the valuation 2 weeks ago, a couple more bits of paperwork requested. My MA is now saying that it's not even with the underwriters yet?? I'm guessing we are way off getting our offer??0 -
Hi! Thanks for the positivity and the insight into the underwriting stage, I do hope you are right. Valuation was done and report sent to Bluestone on the very same day (13/11), so now we are just waiting on Bluestone to make a decision. We started this process in Summer before the easing of the Stamp duty exemption was announced, thought it'd be all done by now. At this rate hoping we are done prior to Christmas! Hoping an offer comes through imminently, will be sure to keep you posted. Good luck for your valuation this week!doglover34 said:
I think if its just valuation your pretty much home and dry as 99% of the underwriting is done by then. Really hope by next week you have your offer as 3 months is a hell of a wait!! Keep us all posted!!NervousMortgageApplicant said:Think we've hit a record waiting time. Our DiP was completed at begining of August, a week after the actual mortgage application went in. Since then, Bluestone via Brightstar requested a few updated docs but nothing out of the ordinary. Now ( 3 and half months later) the sellers decided to put the house back on the market. We are a bag of nerves, naturally on edge now. My broker has pushed hard and apparently Bluestone have reviewed our case but just waiting for valuation report (valuation don on Fri 13th.. ha ha), hopefully next week will be revealing. My broker has pre-empted up to date statements as so much time has passed, already prepped and sent. This waiting is so frustrating, I just hope we don't lose the house and that Bluestone turn this around quickly. Broker advised they would not waste time on our case if it were a closed case. We have adverse but no CCJs or Bankruptcy, a fair few missed payments resulting in defaults but these were at least 2 years ago, I'm a contractor which doesn't make things easy. Good luck 👍 all.1
